I'm tired of everyone calling this deck the sponge so I decided to name
it Rag Time for my friend Colin since he is too poor to afford a sponge!

Strategy
After experimenting with the straight grass trap I realized that basing
a deck completely on traps isn't good. Trap is a very good card but
can't carry an entire deck on its back. So I decided to go back to
sponge but put traps in to wreck my opponents handd or slow the game
down.
Round One
Brian vs Swoll (That's me)
This is a little kid who is using his friends deck, which was a
Hitmochan Magmar haymaker that did well at the STS. I start out with a
Mewtwo and a beched Electabuzz he starts with a Hitmochan out front and
a beched Magmar. I went first and I comp with some energy for Mewtwo and
I got a Lass in which I got a comp, scoop, and oak. I was sure I had him
and absorbed. He draws attches to Magmar and top decked and oak! I had
to rethink my strategy now and reform my plans. Now I started to burn
everything that came my way and the hitmochans just fell til he pulled a
chansey. He double-edged me then I reacted by shocking his chansey with
three plus powers. (Theat was the highlight of the day.) In the late
game I killed his last hitmochan after he played retreat for a while.

Round 2
Swoll vs. A new little kid (Not sure of his name)
I win the flip and decide to go first. The kid pulls out the Erika
preconsrtuct straight out the box so I figure that it will be pretty
easy for me. We flip I have an Electabuzz and he has an Erika's Tangela
and Erika's Bellsprout, I don't even bother trying to trap him to
nothing and shock his Tangela. He goes attaches to Bellsrout and passes,
I attach an energy and two plus power to kill the Tangela. He hits me
for 20 Then I go and don't flip heads on the punch for the kill. He hits
for 20 again and I shock it for the win.

Round 3
Swoll vs. Colin
This kid is a jabroni that has never beat me in tourney until recently
at the STS near our house. He has the braging rights now but I fell
pretty confident since he is playing a prop 15 deck. I win the flip and
go first. We flip over and he has a Rocket's Scyther benched Scyther and
a Lickitung and me with a Buzz, Ditto, and Scyther. I decide to lass him
first turn and luckily I did because I got a professor oak and 2 scoop
ups. I shock his scyther with no para., he attaches and Shadow images. I
really can't remember the exact details but he was in the hole and top
decked an oak to save him. I coundn't get to his stupid Rocket Scyther
for what seemed like forever but finally like 10 turns later and
finished of the rest of his pokemon.

Round 4
Swoll vs. Bob
This is a good friend of mine and he was fresh from his win at the STS
last week so he thinks he is in pretty good shape. He started with a
Chansey and a benched Magmar. I went first and I sneaked a couple times
after oaking a bit and Buzz shocked and he went. I continued to punch
him and he couldn't recover, I continually beat his pokemon for
damagefor about 6 or 7 turns. Late game I trapped him and got his hand
down to zero, all he had left was a lickitung and magmar which I
disposed of and got the win. Afetr the game Bob sais I was lucky and
didn't want to admit he just plain lost.
Round 5 FINALS
Swoll vs. Corey
This is another good friend friend of mine who I play magic with quite
often. He goes first and starts with a pair of promo Mewtwos and me with
a lonely Scyther. He bills the items the bill with two energy and
absorbs. I'm in trouble I have no card drawing power and stuck with a
the Scyther, I sneak away an oak the get off a successfull trap and
super the only two psychic energys of his Mewtwo and pass. I'm in luck
he has no psy energy left for the Mewtwo and is forced pass I attach an
energy and pass. He still pulls no psy and says go. I draw an bill and
bill for an oak, YES! I attack a double and oak then I trap him to
nothing and finish off all of his pokemon with my scyther and a Buzz!
Corey is pissed but that's life
I got 2 Invasion packs as a prize. (The new Magic set)
