Well it was the big day when I finally could test the deck I had been tweaking for two months. The deck I'm used was a Psychic/Fire deck that uses Promo Arcanine's Flames of Rage after Chansey retreats and has a lot of damage. Then after Flames of Raging once, you switch all of the damage from Arcanine to Chansey.  Once Arcanine is powered up again, you switch the damage from Chansey to Arcanine the amount needed to knock out the defending pokemon.
Thats enough about the deck.  Here is the blueprints of the machine that got me second place at The Super Trainer Showdown Qualifier Tournament!!

Round 1
Jonathan (Grass)

When I saw my opponent flip over his first card I knew this match was goin to be a breeze.  I flipped over a growlithe and drew my card.  It was a Prof. Oak. I played a Fire energy and passed.  He played a Grass on his weedle and Poison Stinged.  No poison. I drew an Arcanine and played it oaked and found another energy. I played the energy and Flames of Raged for 80 damage. Quick match

Round 2
Whitney (Grass/Fire)

This match had a potential for me to lose.  I had a Chansey active and Scyther and Growlithe on the bench.  I drew a fire energy and attached it to growlithe and passed.  She had a Scyther active and played a DCE. My turn I drew an Arcanine and switched the Chansey.  I Flames of Raged for the kill.  She now had A growlithe to my energyless Arcanine. She evolved into the Arcanine from the base set and attached a DCE. I played a Abra on the bench, attached an energy to Arcanine and passed.  She played a fire on Arcanine and used Energy Removal On my Arcanine. I drew a Prof. Oak and used it. I drew an Alakazam, Breeder, two Fire, one switch, and two DCE.  I played a Fire on Arcanine and switched with Chansey.  She played a Fire and used Take Down.  I drew a Comp. Search and played a DCE on Chansey and Scrunched. Heads. She drew her card and passed. I played a DCE on Chansey and Double-Edged for the win. After the game she showed me her hand. If she would have potioned I would have lost!

Round 3
Chris (Fire)

This guy must like Gym Heroes, because his deck had only three trainers, Energy retrieval.  Chris played a Blaines Magmar deck that really was not good.  I don't even know how he got to this round. But anyway I started with a Growlithe with Chansey on the bench. After his third mulligan Chris finally got a Magmar out. He attached a Fire and used Firebreathing for 20. I drew a Arcanine and played a Fire on growlithe and passed. I drew another Fire energy, evolved and Flames of Raged for the win.

Round 4
Jacob(Haymaker)

This is the most hilarious match I have ever seen. I drew my card and played an Abra. I played a DCE on my Chansey nad Scrunched. Tails.  He had a lone Hitmonchan.  He Oaked and Billed and a whole bunch of other stuff just to gust out and knock out my Abra. He jabbed for 40. I drew my card, Comp. Search.  Well after a few moments I knew I was going to win the match as long as there was a DCE in my deck. So I Comp. Searched for the DCE attachedit to Chansey played a Scyther and Double-Edged for the win.  When I did that he freaked out and started throwing his cards around the table.  I got 20 extra points for unsportsman like conduct.

Round 5 Finals
Erbank(Colorless Haymaker)

This match could have been mine if it wasn't for a bent Abra.  When we started I played the regular team Growlithe active, Chansey on the bench. We Oaked for a few turns and I glanced at my deck.  It looked like I had around 20 cards in my deck so I used three Bills I had been saving. When I got done drawing my cards I noticed that i had a bent Abra in my hand. I glanced at my deck. only two cards.  I knew I was going to lose because I had two prizes to get in two turns. He stalled me out with Lickitung and Gust of wind.

Well I got 27 Gym Heroes booster, a hat, a Gold Invitation, a shirt , and The Trading Card Game for Gameboy.  My friend who came down to the tournament with me got second in his division too. My divison was the 11-14 and was pretty easy except for the Abra. I wonder what New Jersey.

  Props to everyone who played
  Slops to everyone who didn't
