The Pokemon Card Game-Killer Reports

The large scaled tournament was held in Outer Limits, in Clifton, NJ.
This tournament was held every Thursday 6:30pm to 8:30pm. About 30-40 people
participated in this event. I did very well in this league and now hope to
become an even better Pokemon Card Game Master in a more complex advanced
Pokemon Tournament. I believe that I have mastered the game and I am ready to
take on a more challenging route in the world of Pokemon.=)

                                                        Battle 1-*Fighting!*
In the first match I was battling a Fighting Deck. I was worried, but then
thought positive, because I do have TR Zapdos, Pichu, and Elikiddo! He
started out with a Machop and a Hitmonchan. I started out with a TR Zapdos
and a Base Set Electabuzz. I sent out Zapdos as my active first and kept the
Eletabuzz on my bench. He sent out Hitmonchan as active and kept Machop on
the bench. It was my turn first so I used Plasma for 20 to Hitmonchan and it
was now his turn. He decides to scoop up his Hitmonchan and he sent out his
Machop. he couldnt do anything because of my resistance so it was now my
turn. I picked up a Voltorb and attached an energy to Zapdos and used Plasma
again for 20 onto Machop. It was his turn and he evolved his Machop into
Machoke. He still couldnt do anything! HAHAHAHAHAHA! I evolved my Voltorb
into Elctrode and used Buzznap and put Electrode and the Voltorb under my
Zapdos as energy......You know what happened next...I attached a defender to
Zapdos and used Electroburn! For 70! and knocked out his Machoke! I put 20
damage on Zapdos only because I had a defender. I picked up a prize and and
it was a potion. It was now his turn, he picked up and attacked me for
Nothing! Because I had a defender! I discarded Defender at the end of his
turn. Now I potioned just to finish the game in style and I used Electroburn
for 70! and WHAAM! I won and I was on to my next victum!

                                        Battle 2-*Raindance!*
I was was very much confident by now after beating a fighting deck...but this
deck i was battling next made me think twice then to doubt its
greatness.*Even though it does have my weakness you should never be to
confident!" This deck was a water deck...Raindance! Since this deck was
Raindance I had to find a way to knock out his Blastoise as quick as
possible!.....Pichu! We started out the match with his turn first. He sent out
a Lapras as active and Squirtle to the bench. I started out ok with Voltorb
as active and Pickachu as my bench. He attacked me for 10 and it was now my
turn. I attached an energy to Voltorb and used Speed Ball for 40! It was now
his turn and he breedered into Blastoise! I knew I was in trouble if i didnt
get something quick! He used Raindance and attached 3 energy to Blastoise and
1 to Lapras and attacked me for 20. Voltorb was down to 10! I drew and got a
Com. Search! I discarded 2 energy and searched my deck for a Zapdos! I
quickly attached an energy to Zapdos and evolved my Voltorb into Electrode
and used Buzznap and attached my Voltorb and Electrode to my Zapdos as
energy. I sent out Zapdos and attacked Lapras for 40 with Plasma and I picked
up the energy from my discard pile from the Voltorb and attached it to Zapdos
and Lapras was knocked out! Man what strategy! I picked up a prize and it was
a super potion. It was now his turn and he attached an energy to Blastoise
and attacked me for 50! I wasnt knocked out so now it was my turn and I
picked up a defender and attached it to Zapdos, I super potioned Zapdos and
discarded one of my energy, and attached another energy and used Electroburn
for 70! I attacked Blastoise for 140! And I won the game! Zapdos and
Electrode had done it again!  I was now onto the Gym Leader!

                                    Final Battle-*Gym Leader!*
Ok, the Gym Leader was as good as me(maybe i was even better because i did
beat him many times before* my record with him was 7-3* ) But now he was
going to use a deck that did frighten me in many ways, but i did beat the
deck before with my psychic. It was his Hayfever deck! It didnt have to much
power but did have plenty of effects and traps! I had to hope for the best as
I was going for my 8th win against the Gym Leader!  I started out ok with a
Base Set Electabuzz and a Meriipu on the bench. He started out with only a
Snorlax! This was my advantage now! It was my turn first and I drew a
Pickachu. I put him on my bench and attached an energy to Electabuzz. I
attacked Snorlax for 10 but I couldnt paralyze it because of its Pokemon
Power. It was now his turn and he attached a DCE to Snorlax and it was now my
turn. I attached an energy to Electabuzz and attacked snorlax with
Thunderpunch for 30 and got tail so I did 10 damage to myself. It was his
turn now and he put down his Oddish and attached another DCE to Snorlax and
used Body Slam for 30 and I was paralyzed. I was starting to worry but i had
plenty of back-ups! It was now my turn and I got a Zapdos and put it on my
bench. I super potioned my Electabuzz and discarded an energy and attached an
energy to my Zapdos. and it was now his turn. He used Rocket Sneak Attack but
I had no trainers in my hand. He body slammed me again for 30 but I wasnt
paralyzed. I picked up a defender and put it onto Electabuzz and attached an
energy to Electabuzz and used Thunderpunch for 30 and I got the extra 10.
Snorlax was now down to 10hp. He evolved his Oddish into Gloom and used
Pollen Stretch but it failed and Snorlax used Body Slam for 10 only because I
had a defender. It was now my turn, I discarded the defender and attached an
energy to Zapdos and attacked Snorlax for 10 and I knocked it out. I drew a
prize and it was an energy. It was now his turn and he sent out his Gloom and
used Pollen Sretch and it failed so Gloom was now confused. He evolved his
Gloom into Vileplume and used Petal Whirlwind and got 2 heads(Vileplume was
now confused) and knocked my Electabuzz out. It was ok! I sent out my Zapdos
and attached an energy to it and used Plasma for 20 and picked up an energy
from my discard pile and attached it to Zapdos. It was his turn and he put
down another Oddish and tried to attack with Vileplume and failed and
attacked it self for 20( it was now down to 20hp ). It was now my turn and I
picked up a defender and attached then attached an energy to Meriipu and
evolved it into Mokoko and I used Plasma for 20 and picked up an energy from
my discard and attached it to Zapdos( Zapdos now had 5 energy on it ) and I
knocked out Vileplume and I picked up a potion. It was now his turn, he was
losing hope. He evolved his Oddish into Gloom and used Pollen Stretch and it
worked. and attacked me for 10 and poisoned me. It was now my turn I wanted
to finish him up good! I potioned my Zapdos, attached a defender to Zapdos,
put an energy on Mokoko and finally attempt the attack....I flipped the
coin....I got heads! and used Electroburn for 70 and attacked myself for 30!
I had won the game! My 8th win against the Gym Leader!
