First Battle vs Joey (Rapid Fire Deck)
I went first w/ Rocket's Moltres to his Base Set
Magmar. I laid a fire energy on Moltres and passed. He
bill"ed" twice, oak"ed", and then Com Search"ed."
Then he passed. I played Master Ball to get Rocket's Zapdos and benched
it. Then I Oak"ed" for 2 Electric Energy, 1 Fire, 1
Energy Removal, 1 Item Finder, an Energy Search, and a Lugia. I benched
Lugia, attached a Fire to Moltres, and passed. He benched a Blaine's
Moltres and passed. I drew Fire, attached it to Moltres, and used Fall
Wall (40 to Magmar and 10 to Blaine's Moltres. Next turn I Fire
Wall"ed" again for the KO on Magmar and 10 more on Moltres.
He activated Moltres, attached Fire to it, and passed. I laid an
Electric on Zapdos, and used Fire Wall for 40 more damage. I laid
another Fire Energy on Moltres and passed. I Fire Wall"ed" one
more time, benching him out.
Record: 1-0
Second Battle vs Simon (Super Psychic
Deluxe Deck)
He went first w/ Movie Promo Mewtwo to my
Articuno. He laid a Psychic Energy on a benched Fossil Gastly and
passed. I benched a Rocket's Zapdos, attached Electric to it, and
passed. He evolved Gastly into Fossil Haunter and laid another Psychic
on it. Next turn he evolved Haunter into Gengar and benched a Jynx.
I then attached Water to Articuno and retreated it for Zapdos. I used
Plasma for 20 and an Energy. He attached DCE to Mewtwo, retreated it
(he'd attached a third Psychic to Gengar last turn), brought out Gengar, and
used Dark Mind. The game kept going his way and he ended up winning
by benching me out in the late game.
Final Record: 1-1
I spent the rest of the time trading with other
kids.
