NEED FOR SPEED

ALEXA: Hey Pojoholics! WASAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAABE? Anyways, now that that's
over.here's my deck that I used last Pokemon League! It's built around my
favourite Pokemon of all time-Rapidash!
RAPIDASH: Oh yeah!
ALEXA: Hush you. Umbreon! Go! Hypnosis!
UMBREON: Heh heh heh.
RAPIDASH: ZZZZZZZZ.

ALEXA: Sorry about that. Well, here's the deck. Hey! Umbreon!

NEED FOR SPEED v. 3.3

Pokemon-14
2 Erika's Dratini
2 Chansey
3 Scyther
4 Ponyta
3 Rapidash

Trainers-28
3 Oak
3 Bill
2 Item Finder
3 Computer Search
4 Plus Power
4 Gust Of Wind
2 Nightly Garbage Run
2 Rocket's Sneak Attack
2 Scoop Up
3 Super Energy Removal

Energy-18
4 DCE
14 Fire Energy

ALEXA: Well, the strategy's kind of self-explanatory. Stall with Scyther,
Chansey, or Erika's Dratini, and build up Rapidash. Once Rapidash is ready
to fight, retreat (the highest retreat in this deck is only 1 energy!) and
send him out. Then, use Agility. It may only do 30 damage for a Stage 1, but
it comes with a chance at invincibility. Dash ain't Wiggly, but it's a
really fun deck to play!

Well here's the match record. Sorry if the details are a bit fuzzy, but this
WAS last Saturday...a whole..oh..5 days ago!

Match 1 vs. 12 year old with a Fire Beatdown
Well, I think that this guy was still fairly new to the game, as his deck
was built around the infamous Charizard. I figured that this'd be a nice
warm-up game, so I challenged him to a battle. Well, I started with an
Erika's Dratini, and him with just a Rocket Ponyta, so I thought that it'd
be easy. He went first, attached an energy to the Ponyta and passed. I used
a Rocket's Sneak Attack, and saw that he had a Dark Rapidash in his
hand..not good. I attached a DCE to Dratini and Tail Struck, leaving him
with 20 HP. He evolved to Dark Rapidash, and used Rear Kick for 20. I drew a
Scyther (PHEW!) and attached a Fire to it, Tail Striking for 10. He Rear
Kicked the Dratini and knocked it out. I then proceeded to attach a DCE to
Scyther and Slash for a bench-out victory.
Match Record: 1-0

Game 2-Same Guy with the Same Deck
He wanted a rematch. I forget most of this game, but I do know that I got
Dash out early and ploughed through numerous Charmanders, Charmeleons, and
suchlike for the win. He simply didn't understand why his Charizard deck
didn't win..kids these days..oh well, everyone needs to learn sometimes....
Match Record: 2-0

Game 3-Robert with a Wigglyhay Deck
Well...we all knew this was coming. He started off with Hay pokemon, namely
Hitmonchans/lees. I forget my starter, probably a Scyther and Ponyta.well,
to make a loooong story short, I never saw a Wigglytuff, his deck was more a
Hay than a Wiggly, I got Dash pumped and went through numerous Chans and
Buzzes for the win. TGFP!, or Thank God For PlusPower!, it really gets
through the Hay Pokemon.
Match Record: 3-0

Game 4-Robert again, this time with a Pain Amplifier deck
This time an original! Well, I have to say that for the most part it was
good, but there were Koga's Pidgeys that didn't need to be there. The rest
of it was good though. I completely forget this match, but it did end with
me repeatedly Scooping Erika's Dratini, while desparately trying to keep
Dash energied up against his onslaught of ERs. Eventually, he ran out and I
Agilitied his basics away.
Match Record: 4-0

Game 5-Robert's sister with the same Amplifier deck, 3 Prize Game
Same deck eh.Well, she began the game with an onslaught of Koga's Pidgeys
and me with a Scyther. She powered up for Razor Wind, and I for Slash. She
started using Razor Wind, and actually got some hits off before Pidgey fell
to Scyther. I had a Dash pumped by then, and another almost ready on the
bench when she threw out Sabrina's Gastly with like 5 energies on it.I took
a closer look and realized its Pokemon Power added 10 HP for each Psy energy
on it.B'OH! (and yes I know it's D'oh, B'oh is what I say!) So I whittled
away at Gastly's massive HP for like 5 turns, she adding 10 HP a turn. I was
almost in the range where I could KO her with 2 Plus Powers, and she used a
Potion. Sigh. She asked me then if I wanted to forfeit, as we were tied at 2
Prizes each and her bench was nearly full (mine wasn't) and I refused. I
went on to win next turn with my PlusPowers.
Match Record: 5-0

Match 6 vs. ??? with HitmonDance
He had Hitmonchans in a Rain Dance to combat Buzz, in case you were
wondering. I lost on turn 4, as I started with just an Erika's Dratini and a
handful of Energies.
Match Record: 5-1

Match 7 vs. Same Guy, Same Deck
This time I really got to use the power of Rapidash. I got him built up
early, and tore through his Hitmonchans,MP Articunos, Rocket Squirtles and
Blactiose for the win. Agility really saved my butt this time.
Match Record: 6-1

Match 8 vs. Robert with his WigglyHay (again)
He filled his bench and I was doing bad. I had to leave then anyway, so I
forfeited. Life goes on.
Match Record: 6-2
