This deck took some time to build I had to get 4 Blastoise's. I had 3 basic
Blastoise's and the other day I pulled a holo TR Blastoise out of a pack, and
my deck was complete. Here is my stradegy I use for my Hailmaker
deck.............
Well as you can always tell Raindance decks are about building your Gyrados
Articuno and other Pokemon up by using Blastoise's raindance. This deck is
fun to play with because you can fool your opponent, one minute you have a
squirtle (without any energies) to using a Pokemon Breeder and have him built
up, (as Blastoise) The stradegy to this deck is  to fool your opponent by
evolving your squirtle very fast into a blastoise(by using Breeder) and then
use raindance and clean house. I threw the Lickitungs in for mainly backup
and stalling while I evolve my Pokemon. The TR Magikarp is so much better
than the base set one(Rapid Evolution is sweet) the rapid evolution will help
with getting Gyrados. Articuno's......well what can I say no weakness,
Resistance to fighting (must have for water decks) The main stradegy is to
just hold on to your energies and then pile them up when you evolve your
squirtle into blastoise. The Breeders are so much better than evolving into
Wartortle (in situations) and it's faster so you can wipe out your opponent
with Hydro Pump.

This tournament was held in Modesto, Ca and was 2 hours long.

I have to say one thing before I show you my tournaments,  there was this one
kid I was hanging out with and I thought of him as my good luck charm(not
like I needed it)

Here are my tournaments

Me vs. kid(fire and water deck)

I started out in my hand with 1 magikarp, 1 Articuno, 1 Squirtle, 1 Bill and
3 water energy. I won the coin toss and all he had was a growlithe and
shellder. I had squirtle as active and did bubble and paralyzed his
Growlithe. he attached an energy to Growlithe and them I went, I drew a bill
used it and drew another bill and a Breeder. I used my other bill got my base
set Blastoise evolved him by using Breeder...Killed his Growlithe and then
finished the game by killing his Shellder. He had no basic pokemon so I won.

Me 1-0

second match
Me vs. Chris (energy burner deck with poliwraths)

I got an articuno, blastoise, squirtle and 4 water energy for my first hand.
He won the coin toss and did water gun to my articuno. (I decided to leave my
articuno as basic because I had a feeling I was going to get a Breeder) I
went got a bill, drew 1 water energy and 1 magikarp (and didn't attach any
energy,(remembering my whole stradegy) he went and did water gun for 20
damage. i went and got my Breeder, I tried to pretend like I didn't have any
energy or was going to evolve my squirtle, so i passed holding on to my
energy...(he had no clue) He evolve his poliwag into poliwhirl and finished
my Articuno off my using double slap. I brought my squirtle up evolved into
blastoise and used raindance, I finished him off with Hydro Pump. He had no
more basic pokemon so i won.

Me 2-0

Me vs. John (pidgey deck)
This was a quick match I evolve my blastoise pretty fast on my second turn
and finished off his pidgey. He had no more basic so i won.

Me 3-0

Me vs. Adrian ( rock deck )

He had trouble by killing off my Articuno with his geodude (because of the
resistance). I had my blastoise by the next turn and killed his Geodude for
the win. He had no more basic so I won.

Me 4-0

I'm actually telling you this battle becuase I'm an honest person and I can
count my wins and loses>

Me vs. adult (40 year old with TR grass deck)

This battle was pretty long (45 minutes) To make a long story short, he had
his TR Vileplume out on the bench and his pokemon power didn't allow no
trainers.(dead meat) That means I couldn't evolve my Squirtles into
Blastoise's (It was actually pretty pathetic for me because I had about 3
squirtles on my bench and 4 Breeders in my hand with all of my blatoise's. I
had all of my Gyrados out and he thought he was in big trouble. I knew all
along that he was going to win becuase of his TR Vileplume and Gloom(Pokemon
powers) I actually tried to hold him off by paralyzing him and to stall
(maybe I could deck him) Because he kept using Evolutionary light with the
Dark Dragonair and he kept getting the pokemon he wanted. My Gyrados were
gone because of their weakness. He killed my lickitung for his win. (i was a
good sport and said "Good Game")

Well even though i lost the last battle my friend got me 2 promo Arcanines's

props
go to Toys R Us for holding free league
go to my new friend for giving me a TR charmeleon and hooking me up with the
Promo Arcanine's
go to my deck for getting 4 straight wins
go to the adult for giving me an idea for my next deck (Dark Dragonair)

slops
Well I can't really say anything bad about it. (It's free and that's cool)

Here is my HailMaker deck
