Today (saturday) i went to the pokémon league in
WB studio with some friends. It had only been running for 6 weeks, so the
battle for the cascade badge had just begun.
1st battle against Roland with psychic and
electric evolution deck
Roland was a friend of mine and i had played against
his deck often all his decks are evolutions.
I got a starting had of a buzz a mewtwo a few
energies and trainers. he got a rockets eevee and a slowpoke. i kinda felt
sorry for him as i killed his eevee on turn two with buzz. his slowpoke was
team rocket also and it headbutted me, all my sorrow went away as i
thunderpunched it over the horizon. 'good deck' he said to me, he always says
that. 20 points for me-ee weeweeweeweewee-ee.
2nd battle against Anoush with Rolands psychic and
fighting evolution deck
Anoush was another friend of mine and a new
player, i was teaching him at the time, so i went easy on him, as always i got
the immortal electa to start with, i paralyzed his eevee (i think it was
national eevee day) he got a machop and full healed eevee, brought out machop
and low-kicked (aaaaaaah!)
my go, i had to go for paralyzation, i failed. his
machop killed me, im not going to under-estimate new players anymore.
3rd battle against Beat-down bod
i remembered this guy from a fortnight ago, his
deck was a perfectly well-rounded haymaker.
I got buzz and mewtwo, he got 1 hitmonchan. i went
first and thundershocked, no paralysis! he energy removalled me and on my turn
i returned the favour, but again to paralysis! he killed buzz and i got my
mewtwo out, i searched for a ditto but it was obviously in my prizes. 'well
there goes my chance at winning' i said and on the next two turns he jabbed
and special punched me. This is the first time this deck lost! i got my
points and ran off home to put some Mr.Mimes in my deck. my deck has a winning
score of 15-1.
