Hi Pojo and all that are
reading. On June 17, 2000 I went to the STS qualifiers in Dallas, Texas
At Valley View mall. Its a 5 round tourney, starting with 32 people
and it has a 20 minute, per round time limit. I played a deck that I
have been developing for quite some time, it revolves mostly around Movie
Mewtwos.....well here it is:

Round 1 Me vs. J. Campbell
This game was quick, I had a Tauros he had a lone
Zapdos. Three turns and it was over, I won!!

Round 2 Me vs.Ricky Torrico
This kid played a water deck, I think it had a
Blastoise, but I never saw one. Anyway, second turn fully powered
Mewtwo, took out his Shellder his Squirtle and an Omynyte(is that how you
spell that??)
2-0
Round 3 Me vs. P. Wertworth
This kid had A Haymaker type deck. Second
turn fully powered Mewtwo(again) vs. 2 Hitmonchans and a Ditto. I
stripped him of all of his energy with ER's, and finished it with Mewtwo,
fourth turn victory.

Round 4 Me vs. S. Zarridast
I would just like to say that this girl gave me a
run for my money. Her original and fresh TR Dragonite deck almost
blew mw away. Any way I started with Ditto, her with a Dratini, I
thought it would be a quick match(BIG mistake), killed her Dratini, but she
came out with another one, I finally got an Oak ( my Ditto had 10 hp
left!!)and got a Tauros started. She killed Tauros, Killed a Mewtwo, But I
struck back with Ditto for a kill. Prizes 5-4, her. I powered
Tauros and killed her Dragonair, I benched her!

Round 5 Me vs. A. Young
This kid was a great player from what I saw in
earlier matches, he had a Blastoise deck but I'm not sure if had TR or what.
I had a Ditto, he had a Squirtle, he paralyzed me and passed. I know
Blastoise decks like anyone because I played one for a long time. I had
to kill the Squirtle. I Oaked got a Mewtwo and Scoop among other things,
scooped and put down Ditto again. Oaked again got a scoop and a Plus Power,
got Ditto out and put a PP on him, Oaked again getting a Comp Search and
another Oak, Comp Searched for a second PP and Oaked for a third, I got an
energy somewhere in there.....1rst turn victory!!!!!
I won a hat( I gave it too my cousin), about 10
boosters( I gave 2 or 3 away to my opponents) and the coveted T-shirt( I kept
that). Most importantly I will be attending the tournament aboard The Queen
Mary!1
