Waaazaaap Pojo? I've been tweaking Extinction lately and went to my local
card shop to try out my newest version of Extinction in a tournament. It was
at The Danger Room in Anderson, Indiana, 14 people participated. It was over
Memorial Day weekend, so i won't remember everything. So here it is:
EXTINCTION
12 Fighting
4 Hitmonchan
10 Psychic
4 Mr. Mime
1 Movie Promo Mewtwo( I needed a strong late-gamer and here's the
best....very versatile)
4 DCE
4 Scyther
3 Chansey
TRAINERS:
4 Bill
4 GOW
4 ER
2 SER(I was stupid to ever take these out in the first place)
2 Comp. Search( also new and versatile)
2 Prof. Oak

Round one VS> Charlie w/ Grass/ Fire(charizards/venusaurs)
OK, this kid was like 6 years old and if you've read any of my reports, I
HATE PLAYING LITTLE KIDS! especially this guy because he didn't really know
how to play and I tried to take it easy and let him learn a little(I think he
learned a lot, actually), but i had to attack every turn, and to make a long
story short, at the start of the game he had no energy and no one to attack
Mime, so i killed his ponyta and Base Set Magmar, then beat his Charmeleon
with Mewtwo for the win.
Record:1-0
Rd. 2 VS: Danny with Psychic and Colorless
He would have done better in this game were it not for his lack of Mr. Mimes
in a Psychic deck. That would have really been interesting, butanyway: He had
two Tauros and a Drowzee(Base). I had Hitmonchan and Mr. Mime out there to be
a pest while i charged up Hitmonchan. Once i did, I let loose with my Gust of
winds i had been holding in my hand and killed his two Tauros in two turns
with Hitmonchan, during which i had been keeping Mewtwo ready and he came out
to beat Drowzee for the win. RECORD: 2-0
Rd. 3 VS> Brian Cohee with a tuff/ NP promo Mewtwo deck
Gust of Winds and My Mewtwo that i used a comp. search to get got him in the
end.
I killed a Jiggly with Chan and Jabbed away while i was building up Scyther
and Mewtwo. It ended up working so that he had a weakness to everything i had
ready. That was good for me and i killed two tuffs and a Mewtwo for the win.
RECORD: 3-0
Rd. 4 Vs: Michael Eiyler with straight electric(Rocket Magneton)
Hitmonchan started out for me and i nearly won the game in two turns against
Magnemite, but he stayed in there and drew a Basic. It went on like that till
i oaked and won the game by prizes with hitmonchan doing all the work.
RECORD: 4-0
Rd. 5 Finals Vs Ry the pokefreak with an awesome Haymaker: fighting/electric
I just got a lot of trainers and used them all and went crazy with Bill and
Oak, then i got loaded up(my bench) and ended up taking my final prize with
Chansey's Double-Edge. Props to this guy: he worked hard to get here and he
deserves it for being a great sport and friend. Ry if you are reading this:
Start posting your reports on the Pojo again!
FINAL RECORD: 5-0
That was my 3rd straight undefeated win, so I'm getting a price( in packs)
put on my head next tournament. aaaa!
Props to Ry, you know why pokefreak
Props to all the people who showed up and all the Pojo people, especially
Scott: YOU RULE!
Slops to this tournament for not being sanctioned
Slops to Brian Cohee for borrowing a different deck and losing.
