The Strategy: Shut down your opponent's Pokemon with Aerodactyl, then
destroy their basics with heavy hitting Pokemon.  If your opponent gets out
evolutions, then Devolution Beam them away with Mew.

Before the tournament- I did a short trade: my non-holo. Dark Slowbro for a
non-holo. Vaporeon.

Round 1- vs. Water Deck wielded by a 10-year-old

Game 1- He gets out a Wartortle on his second turn, before my Aerodactyl was
out.  He eliminated all of my Pokemon!  AAARRGGHH!  How???  I don't know!

0-1

Game 2- I come back and destroy his Wartortle (in his opening hand again,
even though he only has one in his deck!) with Hitmonchan and Kangaskhan.
Take that!

1-1

Between Games- He is fiddling with his cards, so I ask what he's doing.  He
says he's putting the cards in order, but then he assured me that he
shuffled them, so he wasn't cheating!  Yeah, right.  He just cut the deck a
bit.  I didn't want to look like a 'tattletale', so I didn't go to the judge
about it.  Besides, he had done it all three games, and I won one, so maybe
it wasn't so bad.

Game 3- He knocked out almost all my Pokemon with Poliwrath: I was energy
screwed.  YUCK!

1-2

Between Rounds- I finally got up the courage to ask the judge if what the
kid did was considered cheating.  He said, yes, but he couldn't do anything
about it, because the round was over!  Then he got the idea for the extreme
punishment.  He put him up against Rob, the undefeated kid, who had never
lost in all the time he had played Pokemon!  Take that!  He lost to Rob in 3
minutes altogether.

Round 2- vs. Psychic Deck wielded by another 12-year-old (I'm 12)

Game 1- This kid was in his car, so him mom had to go out to get him <?>,
and he was easy to beat.  I just picked off his pathetic Pokemon with
Kangaskhan and Chansey.

2-2

Game 2- A bit harder than the first, as I had to sacrifice a Hitmonchan to
get rid of his Mr. Mime.  I still won in the end, though.

3-2

Between Rounds- I picked through the Common and Uncommon bin.  Commons were
10 cents each, and Uncommons were a dollar.  I found some 1st ed. Rocket
commons!  I got them for only 10 cents each!  I also bought a Dark Dragonair
(awesome card).

Round 3- vs. Psychic/Grass Deck wielded by a 16-year-old

Game 1- I slowly but steadily killed off his Base Gastlies (seriously, they
were annoying) and Exeggcutes with Kangaskhan and Chansey.

4-2

Game 2- I was ahead by a long shot, but he caught up and destroyed some
Pokemon.  I even had to sacrifice a Kangaskhan to kill a pathetic Base
Gastly!  I lost.

4-3

Game 3- No chance.  I got a bad draw with only a Kangaskhan, and he
destroyed me.

4-4

Well, I didn't have a good enough score to get into the semis (If I had won
that last game.), but I still had a good time.  I also bought four TR
boosters: I pulled Dark Golbat, Dark Dugtrio, Dark Dragonite and a holo.
Dark Arbok.  Not bad.
