Well I havn't sent any decksdue to America Online screwing me over, but I
have my dad's computer. Finally after 2 and a half weeks I get on pojo.com
and nothing much has changed. I went to my 2nd tournament and got a 2nd place
out of about 30 people; Not to shabby. A few weeks before, the Gym Leader
told me that everything at the league has gotten boring; Potpourri's,
Haymaker's, Movie Mewtwo....Ahh!!. Well I sat down last week and went through
a few drafts of some fun, original decks. After playtesting it against my
friend, I figured a few things it might need. Well I was set to play the
Sleep deck at the league, but the Potpourri at the tourny. Well after playing
against my friend's Sponge, I lost horribly; I needed a new deck. When I came
home, I looked to my Sleep deck to pull me through...here it is, in all it's
glory (j/k):
"Sleep, Sleep" vs. 1.2
            By: Derek Imars
3 Jigglypuff
3 Wigglytuff
3 Fossil Ghastly
3 Base Haunter (Boom Baby! Bet this suprised ya! The best second stage along
with Wiggly in the game!)
3 Team Rocket Drowzee (Backbone of this bad boy. Helps my Haunter a lot...>:)
)
2 Chansey (Slipped him in to take Wiggly and a few other bad boys that might
torment the deck. Works well with Fossil Ghastly; Grabs DCE's back for a last
jab at the opponet. Only use if you must!)
3 Bill
3 Professor Oak
2 Switch
2 Full Heal
2 Pokemon Trader
3 PlusPower
3 Computer Search
3 Item Finder
3 Gust of Wind
1 Energy Retrieval
14 Psychic
4 DCE ( It's enough, trust me...or better yet, play the deck.)

Deck went through 2 stages to get this far. Dropped Sleep (Yes, I played with
Sleep..and Base Haunter. I'm quite bold, don't you think?) for Chansey.
Chansey helped one game out so much it was practically a bye.
Strategy: 1. Use Drowzee to put opponet asleep. If Haunter becomes asleep,
switch or full heal him, then dish 50. (Movie Mewtwo....goodbye) 2.
WIGGLYTUFF. This deck isn't very hard to play, fast and reliable. If Base
Haunter doesn't shock your opponet enough, bring Wiggly and smoke a 'buzz or
a Scyther with a PlusPower (My later version of this deck drops the Traders
for a Switch and another PlusPower) 3.If you need 2 prizes bring Chansey and
blow up those Haymaker creatures.
This deck not only kills Haymaker's it's fun to play, takes luck, and
allows you to have some good old fashioned orginality to play with. It's
also, very competitive in the Hay environment. Give it a try before you dis
it....I made a Sponge forfeit with this...

    Round 1 vs Bobby
Bobby had a quick Raindance and didn't even know it. Let's see, it
had TR Dragonair, Dark Blastoise and Blastoise. With Kangaskhan included and
good 'ol Gyrados. Yikes for me....I got a quick Wiggly and cooked some 'karp.
3 prizes into it, he got a fully powered Kanga and got all heads, leaving
Wiggly with a black and a night at the Pokecenter...I fought him off with my
Haunter, until I found another Wiggly to wave his Snorlax for 90 with 3
PlusPowers.

Round 2 vs Kid (No name)
This was my favorite game; I opened awsome with 2 Chansey,2
DCE,Computer Search, and 2 Psychic energy. I'll just give the whole game
since it was long. I played Chansey, DCE and scrunched his Machop. He played
energy to Machop and next turn I Dbl edged it. He then played his last basic,
Dratini. He evolved and thought he could stall. I Dbl edged him and won. He
was really mad at me afterwards.
    Record:2-0 6 points

    Round 3 vs Copycatting Corry
Well I do have to give my props to Corry for the rough scedule, but
he really did take it bad win I won. He was playing Light Speed, my own deck,
and I beat him at the league earlier that day. I had to stall for awhile with
Chansey after he took Ghastly down. After awhile I got Wiggly and drew about
3 or 4 prizes with him. Movie Mewtwo's, Electabuzz's and Scyther's lay dead.
He tried to come back with Wiggly, but mine was to much for it. Near the end,
all my Wiggly's were in my discard pile because of Oak(I added Nightly
Garbage Run in version 1.3 because of this) so I went with Haunter. I had one
prize left, and he had Promo Mewtwo out. I retreated my Wiggly (Oh yea, I did
have one more. Making it up as I go) and promoted Haunter. It all came down
to my 2 Drowzees, and I don't think I'd get another shot at this. I tried the
first one for sleep, tails. Bummer, the second was Heads! I Full Heal'd
Haunter and smoked Mewtwo for my final prize.
    Record:3-0 9 points

    Round 4 vs No one
        Got a Bye...

    Final Round vs Ben
Oh no! Another epict battle between me and him. I had only had this
deck for 1 week and him for about 2-3 months, so he had the edge, and time.
This was a big slugfest. He got 2 quick prizes on me, but I had faith and
caught up with him. I nailed another Scyther and a Chansey...leaving us both
with 1 prize. It all ended up with him having 3 cards and me, maybe 7. I was
doing great on that part figuring I played a stall deck. He had Chansey out,
and no damage. He oak'd for the last time. Got Item finder and 2 energy to
get a Gust and fry my benched Haunter with 30 damage. Grr....Oh well.

Well I got a 2nd with a very original deck. See, it pays to THINK. My
friend Ryan supprisingly got 3rd again. I split my packs with my friend
Chris, and congradulated Ben; He was still a little shaky. Well that's all
for now...see ya next time!
