I competed in a fully sanctioned tournament a few weeks ago at a small card
shop and used my rain dance deck for it. A lot of my friends from the pokemon
league I attend. The competion was tough, but I managed to come in second
place. Here is my deck:

pokemon (20)
4 Squirtle
1 Wartortle
3 Blastoise
4 Magicarp
4 Gyrados
4 Kangaskhan

Trainers (19)
4 Bill
3 Profesor Oak
2 Pokemon Breeder
3 Computer Search
1 Item Finder
2 Energy removal
2 switch
2 Gust of wind

Energy (21)
21 water energy

Round 1: vs. Dustin

Dustin was playing with a wierd stall deck. I opened up with Kangaskhan and
started fetching. I managed to get Blastoise out after a couple of turns. I
used switch and sent out the big shellfish and knocked out his Kadabra. He
sent out abra, but didn't have any backup. He paralyzed me for a few turns,
but his coin turned on him and I won.

Round 2: vs. a new person w/ a lightning and psycic deck

I opened up with Squirtle and paralyzed his Pikachu. He couldn't attack so he
attached energy and passed. I paralyzed him two more turns but neither of us
could get benched monsters. He surprised me with Raichu and won me.

Round 3: vs. Jason

This was actually a pretty quick game even though he was playing a Haymaker
deck. He opened up with Scyther, but couldn't attack. I paralyzed the scyther
so he attached a double colerless energy and passed. I used Pokemon breeder
and knocked out scyther, securing my victory. (He's still mad about this)

Round 4: vs. Nick

This was the last battle there was. Me and nick were fighting for first. He
opened with electabuzz and I sent out squirtle. He atached a lighting energy
and used 2 computer serch to get two pluspowers and won first place.

Cool! this deck only lost twice during this tournement. I was happy even
though I got second place. I got pretty good cards in those boosters, though.
Why don't you give this deck a try? It's worked good for me.
