This is only my second tournament and I was very nervous.  I decided to use this deck since it takes advantage of your opponents weakness and it's an awesome deck.  I changed it around a bit as you can see.  The tournament was single elimination.  Almost half of the kids played by just putting a Charizard out a doing fire spin!  Here is my report:

Round 1 vs. Taylor with Rainbow (I think)
This kid didn't really know how to play that well and I had to talk him through it.  I drew my hand and got no basics.  I drew again and got Scyther, Farfetch'd, and Magmar.  I promoted Scyther with Farfetch'd and Magmar on the bench.  He started Mew and Mewtwo on the bench.  He won the coin toss. Taylor drew his card and gave a psychic to Mew and did Psywave, which did no damage.  I drew my card, gave a electric energy to Scyther and passed.  He drew, benched base Zapdos and did Psywave for 10 damage.  I gave a DC to Scyther and slashed Mew.  He gave an energy to Zapdos and did Psywave for 20.  I started pumping up Magmar on my bench and slashed Mew for a prize.  He sent out Mewtwo and passed.  I slashed.  He gave an energy to Mewtwo and passed. I slashed for my second prize.  He sent out Zapdos, benched Hitmonchan, gave a DC to Zapdos and didn't do anything.  The rest of the game I slashed Zapdos and Hitmonchan and won due to no more basics for him and he didn't get the right energy.  Good game Taylor.

Record 1-0

Second Round vs David   with well... no deck!
This kid was so annoying!  He did have a deck and wanted to just use his Charizard, Venusaur, Blastoise, Haunter, Raichu, and Kangaskahn against me with out energies!  I told him to make a deck.  I tried to help him but he was about to throw a fit and I  let him make it on his own.  He put a bunch of  "awesome" stage two's with out almost any basics.  It took almost a half hour for him to make his deck but we finally played.  I started Electabuzz and he started Dratini.  I start. I draw Bill and use Bill for electric energy and Magmar.  I attach electric and do Thundershock and paralyze.  He can't do anything.  I give Electabuzz and Thunderpuch for the win. He deserved it for being such a baby.  That was too easy.

Record 2-0

Round 3 vs. my best friend Chris R. with Nidoking deck
Oh no!  I have to play my best friend!  This stinks.  It's for the finals too.  At least we didn't play each other in the first round.  I didn't take notes on this game because I was so nervous.  I know I got out Electabuzz, Scyther, and Magmar early but he got Nidoking out on the fourth turn.  That's bad.  I only lost the Scyther due to Toxic but it also did Toxic to Magmar before fainting.  All Chris had left was a Lickitung to stall.  I retreated Magmar and took Lickitung out with Electabuzz.  By then I had another powered Magmar on the bench.  I scooped up Electabuzz and knocked out a Nidoran Male with Magmar.  He had no basics on the bench but since he's my best friend I let him put a Venonat on the bench that was in his hand.  I beat Venonat and Grimer(?) with Magmar and won.  Sorry Chris.  Very good game.  Onto the finals.

Record 3-0

Round 4 vs Kerry with Mono-Grass
I was very excited about this match.  I started a Scyther and had Electabuzz on the bench. She had a Paras active with Bellsprout, Spearow, and Nidoran Female on the bench.  She went first.  She gave a grass energy to Paras and said go.  I did Bill and got an electric energy, retreated Scyther, put out Electabuzz, gave him the electric and did Thundershock with out paralyzation.  She gave Paras a grass and did Scratch.  I drew a Mr. Mime and benched it.  I gave a fire energy to Electabuzz and did Thuderpunch for a prize.  She put Bellsprout out, benched another Nidoran, gave Bellsprout a grass and did scratch.  I started to pump up my Scyther and did a Thunderpunch with heads to K.O. Bellsprout. She sent out a Nidoran, gave it a grass and did fury swipes for 20 damage.  I gave Scyther a DC and did Thuderpunch with tails.  She gave a psychic to her benched Nidoran and did fury swipes for ten.  I did thunderpunch for another prize.  She sent out her Nidoran and evolved it to Nidorina.  Then she gave it a Psychic and did Confusion(?) and confused me.  I attacked Nidorina and I didn't get hurt from confusion but from Thunderpunch.  Electabuzz eventually got knocked out from being confused and Thunderpunch.  I put Scyther out and slashed a Spearow for the win because of no more basics.  I won my first tournament!!!!

Record 4-0

My prize was a Top Deck magazine, a Fossil booster, and a Prelease Aerodactyl.  I got a non-holo Ditto in the pack.  Chris got fourth because he lost to this kid Sean that cheated.  He put protectors on all his good cards so he knew where they were in his deck.  He refused to take his protectors off.  I gave Chris the Aerodactyl since he deserved it and I already have two.  Time for Props and Slops!

Props to the Y for having their first tournament.
Props for there being good prizes.
Props to Chris, I thought he was the best one there besides me.  He had bad draws against Sean.
Props to my Mom for taking me.
Props to Ryan T. for inventing this deck.
Props to Chris for letting me borrow his Mr. Mime.
Props to Taylor and Chris for being a good sports unlike some of my other opponents.

Slops to the people the running it because they didn't even know how to play and were very unorganized.
Slops to David because he is annoying.
Slops to Sean for cheating.
Slops to Kerry because she wouldn't let me cut her deck.
Slops to all the kids that didn't have decks (and didn't know how to play).
