POKETRON 2000 TOURNAMENT
REPORT SYSTEM ONLINE

LOCATION: FUN 'N GAMES, TEMECULA, CALIFORNIA
TIME:12:00-4:00
TYPE: SWISS STYLE

SATOSHI: Okay, here I go...!

Round One- Vs. Nick

My beginning hand had Rattatas, Machops, and a Scyther and
Farfetch'd.  He had a Ditto. I sent out a Machop against it and he Low
Kicked. I Low Kicked. He Low Kicked again. I retreated and sent in
Farfetch'd and Leek Slaped. The coin flip is...HEADS! Yes! outta there!
Next game of round one was the same situation. After a few
mercilious kills by me, he had a Ditto VS. my Machop. He was damaged for 40,
so I pulled back Machop and sent in Rattata, forcing him to transform and
die. WAHOO!

Score: 2-0

Round Two- Vs. Craig

This kid had been taunting me all day so far.  He thought he was
gonna beat me <grins evily> I showed him. Once he discovered I was playing
Haymaker, his attitude MAJORLY changed. I was able to destroy his Moltreses,
Fossil Magmars, Kabutos, and Charmanders with my Scythers and Machops, plus
a few PlusPowers.  These two games were an easy win.

Score: 4-0

Round Three- Vs. Greg

Well, an old rival (and friend). This game started out slow, and
accelerated as I power up Scyther and Machop and Hitmonchan to take care of
Kangaskahn and Wigglytuff. From then on, it was Charmanders and Electabuzzes
for the killing.
The next game, I would have died if not for Htmonchan. It was
Farfetch'd Vs. Electabuzz. He Thundershocked, paralyzed. I drew a card and
got Hitmonchan, and played an energy on him. He shocked again, and no
paralyisis. I powered up Hitmonchan with a second fighting energy, and he
destroyed Farfetch'd. I brought up Hitmonchan, energy, Special Punch, K.O.,
no basics, win.

Score: 6-0

Round Four- Vs. Jacob

This round was close. It came down to Machop Vs. Kangaskahn. A few
Low Kicks and a lack of energy on my opponent's behalf gave me the win.
Next game, it boiled down to Ponyta Vs. Dragonite. A few Flame Tails
and energy shortage on my opponent's side gave me the round win.

Score: 8-0

WAHOO! Undefeated in the first Fun 'N Games tournament of the Millenium!
Huzzah to me! I got a 30 dollar gift certificate, plus a pokeball toy thingy
and a T-Shirt. That's all for now! Have fun with the Semi-Haymaker!
