Hi pojo. I've got a good deck here. The
tournament was held at G&G's Sports Memorbilia, Oklahoma City Jan. 8 2000.
About 20 people entered the tournament.

Round 1
This was the first game I played so I don't remember much, just
that i won the first two games. Record 1-0
Round 2
This guy was playing an all grass deck. My two Magmars were
doing good out there while I had Aerodactyl on my bench. My gust of winds got
out his weaker pokemon. I won. Record 2-0
Round 3
I was playing round 2' s friend also with an all grass deck.
Same thing happened, Magmars killed while Aerodactly on bench. Record 3-0
Round 4 vs. Big Roy
Now this guy was a real collector. I had a hard time with this
deck. He was playing a water/fighting deck with dewgong, articuno, blastoise,
hitmonchan, and some colorless pokemon. First game I won from luck with my
aerodactyl on bench and hitmonchan dealing damage and drawing prizes. The
second game I didn't get crap so I lost that game. Third game, we both
did alot of damage. My ditto was really going, it killed two pokemon including
a blastoise. When I was down to one prize I had my ditto up with five energies
and no damage. I gusted for his dewgong and ice beamed with no paralis. He
retreated brought up a squirtle and put damage on ditto. Luckily I had another
gust of wind, so I used it against the dewgong again and killed it. Record
4-0.
I am now in the final.
Round 5 vs. Big Roy
Surprisingly he came back from the losers bracket to face me in
the finals. I never got the cards I needed so he won this round. Record 4-1.
Round 6 vs. Big Roy
We had to lose twice to be eliminated so I played him again.
First game went well. I drew all my prizes to win. Second game. CRAP! I draw
my seven cards and my only basic is a mysterious fossil. He has no basics so i
draw two more cards. No basics. We roll and he goes first. He put out a seel
and headbutted for the win. Last game. Draw my hand and Crap! Again only
mysterious fossil. he doesn't get a basic for three hands. I luckily get a Mr.
Mime and switched the two before the game started. I go first and put an
energy behind myst. fossil. Next turn i evolve to aerodactyl and keep mr. mime
until it has 20 damage. I pokemon trader for hitmonlee. By this time i had
hitmonchan down with energies behind it. i had a moltres down with one
fire,aerodactyl, ditto, clefable, and mr mime. i bench hitmonlee and build it
up. my hitmonchan dies so i put up hitmonlee. I have three prizes left. he has
articuno up, no energis behind it, and two hitmonchans on his bench, one with
30 damage, and a seel. i stretch kick hitmonchan a couple of times and draw my
prize. he put up hitmonchan. I put up moltres but never do damage. he
retreats and puts up dewgong ( he did kill aerodactyl) and does 50. i retreat,
put up clefable and did thirty an paralized it. he retreated and brought up
hitmonchan. i retreat and put up hitmonlee and kill it after a few turns. Last
prize. he put up dewgong but can't attack. i retreat and put up clefable and
do 50 to win. i won the tournament and go a brand new Mew, which i had already
gotten one before the tournament fron toys r us. I plan to replace the machops
and machoke for 2 more hitmonchans and a hitmonlee.
