participated in a tournament at "DoublePlay" in Mankato, MN

I got 5th Place.It was best 2 out of 3. I used a deck called "Super
Smokin' Thunder Punch"

Fighting Deck
He was new to this so I got myself
an easy win.
Game1:He starts with Krabby and me with Electabuzz. That died on the second
turn and then he sent out a squirtle in which he paralyzed me four times in
a row. I revenge with a Thunder Punch to win.
Game2:He starts with a Squirtle and me
Elecabuzz.I go First.Thundershock.He puts Machop on bench and uses bubble.No
paralasys.I put mysterious Fossil on bench and kill squirtle.he sends up a
krabby and evolves it into kingler and attaches an energy to it.Trys to
Flail but hes damageless so zero damage.I evolve Mysterious Fossil into
Aerodactyl and let him go because im trying to help him. he trys to evolve
machop into Machoke but I show him Aerodactyl.He attaches an energy to
Kingler and lets me go.I energy removal him for some reason and thunderpunch
him. Hesends out Machop and I kill it for the win!

Electric
Now This kid was very cocky and over-confident.He
asks me how many electabuzzs I have I say 3 hes like "HAW HAW I have
four!"same with hitmonchan.He uses Electabuzz and Zapdos and he says
how his 2 machamps are gonna crush me.Well onto the round.
Game1:He starts with Machop and Zapdos on
bench. Me Hitmonchan and Mysterious Fossil. I go first. Jab.He puts a Machop
on the bench and an energy on Zapdos which I remove.Then I evolve into
Aerodactyl, attach an energy to Hitmonchan and jab with a pluspower to kill
it he sends out zapdos and attaches energy to it trys to evolve but i show
him my Aerodactyl.He breaks down.my turn I put electabuzz on bench and
attach an energy to it. Retreat hitmonchan and send out buzz and
thundershock.He puts energy on Zapdos.My turn I energy removal him attach
energy to buzz, and thunderpunch 30 damage.He puts energy on Zapdos. my
turn. I Super removal Zapdos and thunder punch 30 damage. he attaches energy
to machop and passes I put farfetchd on bench and attach an energy to it.I
thunder punch 40.He sends out Machop and low kicks I thunder punch and kill
myself.I send up Farfetch'd.he cant attack me.I just drew my last card and
it all depends on a coin flip.I'll Go Leek Slap.........Coin Flies Up '
comes down -
lands _ while Spinning Cant make it out YES! HEADS! I WIN! sorry I get
carried away sometimes when I win by a coin flip.
Game2:He starts out with 2 Zapdos and me
electabuzz.He goes first attaches energy my turn thunder shock he attaches
energy I comp search for super removal attach energy and thunderpunch he
attaches an energy.My turn.I super removal and kill him with thunder punch.
He Forfeits.

Roundthree:SuperSmokinThunderPunchvs.Electric Water
This guy really impressed me he had a good, original
deck. He used Dittos Poliwraths Blastoise and electabuzzs.He ended up
getting 2nd I think.Onto the match......
Game1:I started with 2 Farfetch'd and he started with
Electabuzz!Oh no I thought it was the end there. Luckily I had a computer
search in which I got a Oak and got a good bench full of great
pokemon:electabuzz Magmar and hitmonchan. I let him kill the farfetch'd
while I built up Hitmonchan on bench. I sent hitmon up and killed Buzz.He
sent up ditto and jabbed. I started to power up electabuzz on bench while I
used Special Punch with a Pluspower.His turn he Jabbs. I then gust out
poliwag, thus killing his Ditto Special Punched his Poliwag for the win.I
was worried there for a sec cuz I was about to deck myself.
Game2:He started to slow with just a Poliwag and i
killed it the way this deck does very well.....fast.
He then thanked me for beating him for some reason and
we shook hands. what a great guy!

Roundfour:SuperSmokinThunderPunchvs.Bodyguard
Game1:All he did was toss little whimpy basics at
me like koffing(great card but not when energyless)Zubat Grimer.Too Easy.
Game2:(see game one)same thing except he got an
energyless Muk out this time!
4-0 (12 points)
So I was in the Final Eight Undefeated,
the only one, So now we move into one round games and Single elimination!
Roundfive:SuperSmokinThunderPunchvs.Electric
Game1:Now There are certain weaknes's to
almost every deck right?Well mine just happens to be energy removals and
that's exactly what this guy had so you could have guessed the turnout of
this game.He started with Zapdos So I thought with all my Energy removals it
would be a breeze I start with Electabuzz. Right away I computer search for
a hitmonchan attach an energy to Buzz and thundershock.he attaches energy to
a benched Zapdos. My turn I attach energy to buzz and thunder punch right
after I removal his benched Zapdos 30 damage. He attaches energy to zapdos
on bench and I attach energy to hitmonchan and put Lee on bench I
thunderpunch 40 damage.He puts pikachu on bench and energy onto it Then he
puts voltorb on bench. My turn I kill Zapdos and he sends out pikachu
attaches an energy and evolves Voltorb into electrode.He sparks-10 to
hitmonchan.Ill summerize it now he gets out Raichu and Reaks Havoc on my
bench And I eventually deck myself.
