About 15 Trainers

Well,if you are still unfamiliar with this deck, it's another potpourri.
But it has a li'l of da Hamsta's twist in it for metagaming against the heavy
psychic environment. I've recruited the help of Jigglypuff, the most
well-balanced Psychic resistant basic around for the job. I've also traded
some switches in and took some bill and prof oak away, and it's helped my
game play fairly well. Other than that, the deck's pretty much the same.
Here's the deck, then the report:

The Report
Well, it's my Pokemon League's very first tourney, and it's also da
Hamsta's first tourney! Although there were around 15 particpants, some
others were there but not for the tournament. If everyone signed up for the
tourney, what a jolly show would it be!! Anyway, the rules are:

1) 2 Loss elimination-once you've lost twice, you're outta here.
2) Once you've lost the first time, you'll be separated wit' all the others
who've lost once in a separate bracket.
3) Those who've been undefeated continue to go up the normal bracket.
4) The player with the least prizes remaining after the 15 min. time limit
wins.
5) Any draws after the time limit will result in immediate Sudden Death.
6) Japanese cards may be played only if the player has accurate translations.
Well, enough with the small talk, let's get it on! (Ding! Ding!)

Match 1- Russel w/Lightning and Fire
Before, this match, KJ, one of my Gym Leaders wanted me to give him no
mercy 'cuz he keeps runnin' his mouth. Well, as he expected that's just what
I did.
He starts off w/Lt.Surge's Pikachu(jap, of course) and me, a lone 'Puff.
I went first and put the li'l rat to sleep. He flips a tails and puts an
energy and pika wakes up. I gave Jiggly another energy and start poundin'
him. Pika retaliates with a quick attack w/ a heads, dishin' out 30. I didn't
do anything else but drew a card and pounded. Game Over.
Match 2-David Romeo w/Psy and Grass
Ah, my good, loyal friend David. He's not the smartest tool in the
shack, but is still formidable. I fixed his deck up a bit by addin' in ERs and
takin' out the potions for more disruption.
Probably my toughest match for today. Dave plays nearly all of his
removals in the beginning and that prevented me from acquiring an early
victory.  I retaliated later wit' SER  and scooped up Scyther and
smokescreened a Nidoran F w/2 PlusPowers for a KO. He plays some fancy gusts
and goes to work on my unenergized 'Buzz. I let 'Buzz soak in some damage
while I build up, then drew a scoop up when 'Buzz had 60 damage. I did some
removaling and so did he. 'Buzz eventually wears down Jynx and Mime comes up
to KO it. Dave gets tails on nearly all of his flips w/Nidoran F. So Mime
meditates her away along with Scyther. Time's up after that KO, and I win,6-2.
Match 3-Stephen w/Psy and Lightning
    I'm not familiar with Stephen,since he's a li'l young. He plays some
Japs, too, but they didn't do much to me.
My lone 'Buzz goes against his lowly Abra. I went first and KO it the
first turn w/2 PlusPowers.  But then, a new ruling comes out of the mist..
"If a player loses in a few turns by empty bench defeat,he/she gets to
shuffle up his/her deck and play again, while the victor doesn't do any of
this stuff."
Oh well, this helps me kill more time. This time, the game gets more
interesting....
My 'Buzz goes to work quickly on his empty promo Mewtwo. My ERs made it
impossible for it to return the damage. 'Buzz then Tpunches his base Mewtwo
w/tailz and Mewtwo uses psychic. 'Buzz finishes off Mewtwo and base pika
comes out and gnaws. Having to soak up all that damage, I scooped up 'Buzz,
slapped a DBC on Scyther and slashed w/PlusPower. Yours truly gets the win.

Results
Wow,one of the 3 or 4 that went undefeated. But I got all of the easier
matches, so I don't wanna brag.  I received 60 points for winning all 3
matches and i'm to advance to the finals. Both Gym Leaders were
defeated, making my work easier, but Lee Richie,my toughest rival, is also up
there with me, after defeating his li'l bro Ryan.  Also, surprisingly, an 8
year old by the name of Brandon is my suspected first match for next week.
I'm not sure, but he might be one of those kids I made a deck for, and he
defeated one of the Gym Leaders. Well, here's the current standings for the
"Knights of the Coffee Table!"(by the way, we don't drink coffee)
John Khaou-Undefeated
Lee Richie-Undefeated
Ryan Richie-1 loss
Viet-Not sure, but I think he lost once

Well, that's da bottom line 'cuz everyone's fave Hamsta said so! Stay
tuned for next week's report!
