I've been looking through Killer Deck Reports now for about 6 mos. and to my
suprise I have yet to see anyone report about a Grass/Electric Deck that I
stummbled upon.

The Big Bang Theory

4 Magnemite
2 Fossil Magneton
1 Base Set Magneton
3 Jungle Pikachu
3 Koffin
2 Weezing
1 Clefairy
1 Clefable

Energy (21)
13 Electric
8 Grass

Trainers (22)
1 Computer Search
3 Pokeball
3 Energy Search
2 Pokemon Trader
3 Energy Retrieval
4 Gust Of Wind
3 Energy Search
3 Defender

Stategy-
Use the Electric and Grass Pokemon to battle the Rain Dance/ Haymaker (Fighting
Based) decks by pinpointing weakness. Paralyze/Poison/Confuse their pokemon to
allow your Pokemon to power up. Keep your bench low and Self-destruct right
before your Pokemon gets knocked out, OR use defenders on your active Pokemon
and self-destruct twice.
Save Clefairy and Clefable until you get both in your hand then play. Use the
trainers to get what you need, when you need it. Basically, blow them up more!

The Format -
Each player would play four games. The Top 8 would go to the finals. No cards
that were not printed in english were allowed.

Round 1 - against a SPONGE DECK!
I lay down a Pikachu with Koffin and Magnemite on Bench and Pokeball in hand. He
puts down Electabuzz.
I lay down Electric Energy and passed. He Lays down Electric Energy and attacks
for 10. Pikachu is paralyzed.
I play 2nd Electric Energy and end my turn. He plays Psychic Energy and does 30+
does an extra 10.
It was all over for me. Since this deck was so new, All my energy was probably
together.
0-1

Round 2 - against a RAIN DANCE DECK!
This was against a guy I have never beaten!
I lay down a Pikachu with Koffin on my bench. He laid down an Articuno.
I power up Pikachu and Spark for 20 on turn 2. He started Powering up Articuno
with Blue Energy (Must've no gotten a other pokemon in hand.) and SER on
Pikachu.
I start laying Grass Energy on Koffin and passing. He gets 3 Blues on Articuno
and hits for 30 and paralysis.
I draw a switch, evovle Koffin to Weezing lay Grass Energy and Switch.
SELF-DESTRUCT! I win. He had another Articuno in hand but didn't play him in
hopes he could draw a Computer Search!
1-1

Round 3 - Against a PSYCHIC DECK!
This was my toughest match. It came down to each of us having 3 cards left in
draw when I brought out Clefable and Psyburn'ed his Mewtwo for the Win.
2-1

Round 4 - Against a PSYCHIC HAYMAKER DECK!
In a nutshell, I got Clefairy out put an energy under him. Drew a Clefable and
Metronomed until he had 3 benched pokemon with heavy damage then I retreated and
Self-Destructed against a Mr. Mime to kill the three on the bench for the win.
3-1

I didn't make it into the finals. But wait til next time.

Props and Slops -
Props to Triple Play for a fun tourney and for keeping the decks legal!
Props to everyone for trying different decks. No one likes to battle the same
deck over and over and ...
Special Props to anyone who can help improve this deck.

No Slops.
