Pojo PLEASE post this. It took me over two (yes two)
hours to type this. The POJO is the BEST site on the
internet in my opinion.

Hi, my name is Lee and I went to a Toys'R Us for the
Pok'emon league and since this was my first time
going to the pok'emon league (or any tournament
at all) I had to sign up first.  (I wish
I could've played the game then, oh well at least
I got a DCI player card and my third Mew card)!
(and I played in Bellingham WA). NOW lets
get onto the deck and report!

Sting Slap

16 Grass Energy
12 Water Energy

3 Gambler
2 Energy Search
2 Super potion
1 Computer Search

2 Jigglypuff (My favorite Pok'emon)
4 Staryu
3 Starmie
2 Magikarp
1 Horsea
2 Gyrados
4 Weedle
3 Kakuna
2 Beedrill
1 Scyther

Strategy:  Stall with a Jigglypuff, Horsea or a Scyther
while you build up a Beedrill, Gyrados or Starmie on
the bench, and then retreat your active pok'emon
for a Beedrill, Gyrados or Starmie and
DESTROY your opponent!

Round 1 VS.  ???  With a Charizard deck
This was before I signed up so it didn't count.
I got a VERY bad hand with a Staryu and 6 grass
energies. I put out Staryu and he put out Charmander
He called tails, I flipped and it was....
HEADS!  We flipped over our pok'emon and he said
he HATED water decks (HE really said that)!
I showed him a grass energy from my hand and
said "I also play grass" and he said "this
should be interesting. I drew and I got a... grass energy
so I passed and he drew and attached a fire energy
and scratched for 10.  My turn, I drew a WATER ENERGY
so I attached it to Staryu and slapped for 40.
All he did his turn was draw, attach an energy
to Charmander, discard it, and ember for the Knockout.

0-0 40 Points (the person who stamped my book gave me 40 free points)

Round 2  VS. The same kid with a Charizard deck
All I got in my hand was four grass energies, an energy search,
a water energy, and a Magikarp.  He put a Charmander active and I
chose the Magikarp.  He called heads and the coin flipped tails.
So I went first, and I drew another grass energy.  I attached a
water energy to Magikarp and tackled for 20.  His turn, he drew a
card and attached a fire energy to Charmander and scratched for 10.
My turn, I drew a Scyther and attached a grass energy to it, and
I flailed with Magikarp for 20.  He attached another fire energy
to Charmander and then evolved to Charmeleon and passed.  My turn,
I drew another energy search and attached another energy to
Scyther, and flailed again with Magikarp.  His turn, he attached
another energy to Charmeleon, evolved to Charizard, and passed.
My turn, I drew another grass energy and attached to Scyther and
flailed with Magikarp for another 20.  His turn, he drew, attached
an energy to Charizard and fire spinned for the knock-out.  My
turn, I drew yet another grass energy and slashed with Scyther
for 30.  His turn, he drew and attached another fire energy to
Charizard and passed.  My turn, I drew another grass energy and
slashed for the knock-out!

1-0 50 Points

Round 2 VS. The same kid with the CHARIZARD deck
I got another Magikarp a water energy, four Grass energy,
and an energy search (does this sound familiar)?
He put out Charmander AGAIN and I put out
Magikarp. This time he called tails and it was
.............................................
HEEEEEEAAAAAAAADDDDDDDDDDDSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!
He commented that the coin must like me
and think I was lucky. I drew a grass energy
attached a water energy and  tackled
him for 20. His turn he drew and
attached a fire energy and scratched
for 10. My turn I drew a grass
energy and passed.  His turn he
drew and attached a fire energy
to charmander and scratched for
10. My turn I drew another grass energy and
simply flailed for the knock-out!

2-0 60 Points

The next kid I played 3 times and he put more than
1 energy on his pok'emon. The first game
he took my prizes and I snatched them back
(there were only grass energies) and told him that
you only take from your own prizes, and all three
games I played against him he took his whole deck
and put it in his hand. I did lose to him once
because he was putting more than one energy on
his Pok'emon per turn (in other words CHEATING)
so i counted it as a win

5-0 90 Points
