I went to a tournament lately which was organized
by Software City and took place at the Molineux Sports Centre. I came first in the
end"Charistodos deck"It isa water fire deck with only a few trainer
cards. Here it is:-
4 Charmander
4 Charmeleon
4 Charizard (Energy Burn and main attacker)
4 Squirtle
4 Wartortle
4 Blastoise (Rain Dance and co main attacker)

Water-Snake-Evolution-of-Death)

1 Mr Mime (Stall with Invisible Wall)

1 Pokemon Trader
2 Computer Search
The main idea of ths deck is to immediately get
out a Blastoise which can power up my other Blastoise and Gyrados by using
Rain Dance, while also building up a Charizard on my bench. Mr. Mime is used
to stall and Ditto to kill Mewtwo's, It does this by having two energy cards
on and Mewtwo does 30 damage to it. However because of the resistance it
does nothing. Then it transforms into Mewtwo and kills it with one hit
because of Psychic's weakness to itself. The trainer cards are the ones which
allow you to search for more cards (like Blastoise, Charizard and
Gyrados) to attack more quickly. The tourney was held in England (I live
there) and this it.
Round One v ???????? With Grass Deck
I picked up Squirtle and Wartortle, Poke Ball and
4 Water Energy. I went first and drew Water energy and sent out Squirtle, I
pokeballed..... Heads, looked for Blastoise and Bubbled with Squirtle and
parylized against his Venonat. My go drew Water energy, Evolved to Wartortle
and used Withdraw... Tails. His go He couldn't do anyhting. My go, drew
Charmeleon and evolved to Blastoise. Used Rain Dance and K'Od his Venonat. I
win due to no basics.

Round Two v ???????? With Stall Deck
My Hand wasn't bad Magikarp, Blastoise, Squirtle,
Charizard, Charmeleon and two water energies, I pick up Charmander and send
him out, with Magikarp and Squirtle on the bench. He mulliganed twice, with me
getting Gyrados, Wartortle and two water energy. Next few goes I kept doing
ten damage to his Mewtwo, while I kept getting Water energy. I was evolving
Charmander-Charizard and only needed one more prize to win. Needed two energy
to K.O. Chansey with 60 health (2 Defender's) picked up DCE and won.

Semi Final v Matt WithMono Fire Deck with only
Arcanine
This match lasted about 20secs. I picked up
Magikarp as my only Basic - him Charmander. I did 20, then 40 damage to win
with flail.

Final v ???????? With Water Deck
The hardest match by far, I don't remeber much
about execpt I got a useless starting hand with just 1 charmander, I gradually
evolved it to Charizard, With two fully powered Blastoise for support and a
Mr. Mime, I beat his Tentacruels, Kinglers, Blastoise, Gyrados and Poliwrath.
I K'Od 4 of his until Charizard died when I finished him off with
Blastoise collecting 6 of my prizes (however with a few early kils, he only
neede two more). I got 5 Jungle Boosters and Fossil which I got:- 2 Mr. Mimes
(Both Shiny) 1 Gengar (Non shiny),1Muk (non-shiny) 3!!! Moltres (ALL SHINY
WAHOO!) 1 Sycther (non Shiny) 1 Electode (non holo Jungle) and a non shiny
Vaporeon) I also got £100 store credit which I bought 3 normal boosters and
got Zapdas, Venusaur and CHARIZARD (Number 5!)
