Hey Almighty POJO!!!
This is Richard R.
This deck is called Zapdos's Revenge!!! My deck is
completely ELECTRIC!!! So if you don't like electric Poke'mon, this deck is
not for you. However if you have never really looked into them try this
out!!!
Anyway here is my deck:
Poke'mon
4x Voltorb (Only for evolution)
3x Electrode (Buzzap RULES!!!)
3x Jungle Pikachu (Spark is
pretty cool, but mainly for evolution)
1x Base Set Raichu (THUNDER)
1x Electabuzz (I knew if I didn't
put one of these in my deck I would get 500 e-mails saying "you need
Electabuzz")
1x Base Set Zapdos (Great wall and
Thunder bolt is the BOMB when you need to finish of a game!!)
2x Fossil Set Zapdos
(Thunderstorm can absolutely tear right through a bench!)
Trainers
4x Bill (I need more energies,
what do I do? I know Trainer Bill)
2x Potion (Remove 2 damage
counters for free? COOL!!)
3x Super Potion (Remove 4 damage
counters for 1 energy? Even COOLER!!)
2x Gust of Wind (So easy to get
prizes quicker!)
1x Defender (Thunder rules, but
sometimes it hurts!)
1x Professor Oak (So cool especially
when its the only card in your hand!)
1x Switch (Zapdos has high
retreat cost OUCH!)
1x Energy Retrieval (Trade 1
energy for 2)
Energy
30 Electric energies (Zapdos also has high energy
costs!)
Strategy:
There are a few tips as far as using this deck goes. Try to get Fossil Zapdos
and Electabuzz out quick!! Electrode can be used for attacking, but
instead of letting you opponent kill Electrode, when he only has about 10 HP's
left BUZZAP! In the meantime use Electric Shock for 50 damage!! The main
reason Electrode is here though, is to charge Zapdos FAST!! If you
can even if you get base set Zapdos in your hand early DON'T
lay him down until you have to or near the end of the game! Yeah 100 damage is
super, but you have to discard all the energies attached to him to use it so
use it near the end to finish off pesky Chansies and Alakazams (Move this
damage!!!)
The Report:
Today is Saturday and I just got back from the
Poke'mon League. Today I earned my First badge (I have only been going for a
few weeks!) So I will tell you what happened today!
Match 1
Me Vs my best friend Chris (Colorless)
In my first hand I got 2 Pikacu's, 1 Voltorb, 1
Electrode, 1 Bill, and 2 energies. Not too bad. I start with Pikachu Chris
starts with a Jigglypuff and another on the bench with a Kangaskhan right
beside it. I won the coin flip so I draw another energy, Use Trainer Bill and
get Fossil Zapdos (YES!!!) and Potion! Lay Zap on my bench and start charging
him up! Attach 1 to Zapdos. Chris attaches a DCE to Jiggly puff and uses
Lullaby. I flip heads so I wake up, not like it matters, I draw switch. OK,
Evolve Voltorb and attach to Zapdos. I don't remember much more except for the
fact in the end I was attacking with a Fossil Zap with a Fully charged Raichu
and Base Zap on the bench! it ends up I win by complete domination!!! 6 prizes
drawn to 2!! (One of those was because I BUZZAPED a Electrode!)

Match 2
Me vs. ??? ( Rain Dance Deck :-)
I knew this was going to be easy from the moment
he told me he used a Rain Dance deck! AND IT WAS EXTREMELY EASY!!! I drew
Electabuzz, 2 V-torb, 3 energies, and Energy Retrieval! I lost the coin
flip :-(. I start with Voltob to stall to Charge E-Buzz. He starts with
Squirtle, another one on the bench and an Eevee beside it. Squirtle
Bubble and I am Paralyzed. I draw another energy. attach to E-buzz, Ready for
ThunderShock! About 5 turns later he has Blastoise, Gyarados, and
Wartortle on the bench attacking with another Gyarados. By now I have a near
full charged Fossil Zap and a near charged Raichu on the bench, Doing 30 to 40
a turn with E-Buzz. As far as prizes go he has 2 I already have 4! Then he
finally fills E-Buzz and here comes my Zap, I Gust of Wind to get that
Blastoise out and finish him of and I do 20 to all but his Wartortle killing
that Gyarados, and giving me the win again!!

Match 3
Me Vs. Alex another 1 of my friends (Fighting :-(
Oh O, my first real challenge, which really wasn't
a challenge at all, because this was no ordinary Fighting deck, it mostly
consisted of Dugtrios, Rhydons, and Sand shrews! All with resistance to my
Electric :-( I don't remember too much except for the fact that it
wasn't even funny! My draw all I got was 3 Pikachus 2 Voltorbs and 2 GOW's.
His Rhydons just plain out annalate me! It ends up I get 1 prize he gets all

Match 4
Me Vs. big dude ??? (Damage Swap deck)
OK not to bad. I get a Electrode, Raichu, both F.
Zaps, and 3 energies. By the time I get 1 of my Zaps charged he has 2
Alakazams 1 Kadabra and 1 Gengar on the bench! and attack with a base Haunter!
Yikes!! At the same time I have found my Pikachus so I have A Raichu and
Electrode staring him in the face :-). As usual Zap tears through the bench,
and eventually Alakazam has no where to run, so with 10 damage left on each of
his Poke'mon I have 1 prize left he has 2 left to get. On my bench I have (all
are charged) base set Zap, E-Buzz, V-torb, and Raichu, with a switch in
my hand!!! This is funny!! I switch My Base Zap with a V-torb! (I am mean) Attach
to V-torb and tackle an Alakazam for the Win!!!
For the day I end at 3-1
I decided to by a few packs so
I bought 3 base packs I got a Lass,
Scoop Up, and Clefairy. Since Charizard. is the only thing I need, this
sucks!!!
