Hey Pojo. Decided once again to make a Killer Deck report on a deck I've been
playing. Lost another game today...:(, but i learned a little more about what
this deck needs. In my other reports, I was a very sloppy editor. This will
probably be the worst report I've ever made, because of my little memory.
Here's the deck, followed by the report:
"Light Speed" ( 21-2)
3Electabuzz
3Promo Mewtwo
3Scyther
3Jigglypuff
2Wigglytuff
2Mr.Mime
3Bill
3Professor Oak
3Super Energy Removal
3PlusPower
3Gust of Wind
3Item Finder
2Scoop Up
2Mr. Fuji
1Computer Search
10Psychic Energy
8Electric Energy
4Double Colorless Energy
Place:Bookland Pokemon League
Time:10-12
Notes:Bookland has some really fierce competition. If you live in, or near
Indianapolis Indiana, look for Eastgate mall. Thats where you will find this
place. The gym leader is great going 3-0 today and me going 2-1 >:(

Report:
Game1-VS-Demur w/Haymaker Variant
I dont remember this game very well...but I'll give it a shot. I sent Scyther
out first...and he flipped over Movie Mewtwo. I went first. I retreated
Scyther (gotta love that free retreat) for Jigglypuff and lullabied. He woke
up and set an energy down. I put an energy on Jiggly and pounded. He layed
another on Mewtwo and let me go. He also set Hitmonchan down that turn. I
pounded once again. He set an energy on Mewtwo and did 10. I pounded once
more with a PlusPower for the kill. He then sent out chan. I finished off the
boxer with a Super Energy Removal and a fully charged Mewtwo. This game was
very uneventful. 1-0
Game2-VS-14 year old kid (sorry dont know your name..says Pokegym is
better...I said "Do they have Scott Gerhardt to do the Deck reports?
lol)w/Mewtwo/Electabuzz He started with ghastly to my Scyther. I used dice
for the first time, and hated the darn thing. He paralyzed me since he went
first. My second turn i layed a Double Colorless on my active Scyther which
retreated for the other. I had 2 Scyther out and thats it. At this point he
had Mewtwo out. He had Energy Obsorbed and let me go. I retreated Scyther and
sent a naked mime as a wall. He retreated and promoted a ghastly which made
quick work of Mime. I again sent Scyther out to face ghastly. He had ER me so
i was one energy away from destroying ghastly. He evolved to Haunter and
retreated for a fully pumped Mewtwo. I Gusted Haunter out and he got tails on
transparency, which killed Haunter. He brought Mewtwo back out to finish off
my Scyther. Sent Jiggly for some resistance. He woke up after I lullabied and
sent Electabuzz out. He Thunderpunched and hurt Jiggly for 40. I retreated
and sent out another Mime. He again sent out Ghastly and killed the Mime. He
had a 2-1 prize advantage until I brought Electabuzz out to make it 3-2 in my
favor. My Movie Mewtwo was of no use as he blasted his way through my Pokes.
He had one prize and an active Mewtwo. I had 20 h.p on Jiggly. He retreated
Mewtwo and let loose with Buzz on my Jiggly. I lost this one...>:( 1-1
Game3-VS-Corry w/Hitmonlee/chan/buzz/Mime.
He called this a Haymaker, but I didnt see one Scyther. By a couple turns I
had a full bench and a Wiggly. He had a Fully pumped Chan, which led me not
to send wiggly out. I dished out on some lees with Movie Mewtwo, and let
Electabuzz have it with my own. Prizes at 2-5 in my favor, I promoted Wiggly
and finished off a Mime. He sent out that chan to kill Wiggly. I scooted
Mewtwo up as my active and killed his Chan to gather my final prize. He went
undefeated all day until he faced me. Whoops...he didnt really talk after
that match. When your that Cocky and you get beat...it hurts.
To Scott: Think this deck has potential? Would it do well at Rhama Llama?

<editor's note:  First of all, there is no "h" in Rama.  =)  Secondly, it depends.  My first instinct is to say no, since the metagame at Rama Llama right now is run lean, mean, VERY fast decks that just breed speed.  Adding in the 4th oak, dropping some basics and some energy in favor of more trainers would be helpful.  I've learned that with the right trainers, you can run a lean 16-18 energy and it will not be a problem for you.  With the top 4 at Rama Llama on Sunday being Sponges, you'll need to be able to deal with that kind of speed.  -Scott>

Props and Slops
Props-To Greg. He again made it hard for kids who just wanted TM's handed to
them tough to do.
Props-To Item Finder. It REALLY helped me in the games.
Props-To the women whose kid doesnt play, that gave me a Chansey coin and
some damage counters.
Slops-To whoever is stealing kids cards at the league. If you read this...and
I find out who you are...Im gonna paint you red and sick a Scyther and an
Electabuzz on you.
Slops-To my memory.
Well thats it. I hope to make notes on my next report. I did lots of trading
today and have all the right cards for a perfect deck....just dont know what
to make.
Send everything about me to CorranHorn8386@aol.com. Thanks!!
