Hitmonbuzz's Revenge:
                             The Wrath Continues II

Hey Poképeople.  What's up?  Well, I once again went to Borders to play, but
I got there late.  I saw my friend Raymond (SoulFusionz128@aol.com), so I
went to play his deck first.  I fixed it for him over the internet, but he
didn't have the right cards so he got screwed in gameplay (It's not my
fault!!!).  Well, once again, here's the deck:

The Deck:
4 Hitmonchans (fast kill, can't be affected by ER's!!)
4 Electabuzzes (same as Chan, but can paralyze!!)
2 Scythers (No room for 4, but still have the great Farfetch'd play)
2 Jigglypuffs (Mr. Mime killer!!!)
3 Mysterious Fossil (Um. . . Next Pokémon!)
3 Aerodactyl (No evolution, baby!!!)
3 Bill (they're Bill for crying out loud!)
4 Energy Removal (Pretty effective if you can pound'm with all at once!)
2 Mr. Fuji (I thank Pokémon Lady for telling me to put these in)
3 Professor Oak (Same as Bill)
3 Super Energy Removal (More effective than ER!)
2 Scoop Up (I needed to add something like Potion, this did the job)
12 Fighting Energy
11 Electric Energy
2 Double Colorless

I took out a Bill and a Mr. Fuji because in my last tourney I saw that I
needed to be able to heal my active Pokémon.

OK, now you've got the deck, time for the report:

Pokémon League
Borders South in Tulsa
2/10/00
4:00 PM
22 People

You know, at our Pokémon League you only get 20 for winning against a Gym
Leader.  I got their late, so, like I said, I went and found Raymond.  We had
a bet going on: If he won five games in a row, I gave him a Articuno.  He had
already lost to the Gym Leader, Dan, because of the Scythers in Dan's
Haymaker.  They just basically cut down his Aerodactyls and his Sandslash.
That's why I think Aerodactyl is a good bench warmer.  Anyway, he was pissed
and wanted to challenge me.  Of course.  So, here's the battle:

Round One:
Raymond with "Hydroslash" (Water/Fighting Deck)

I had out a Hitmonchan, he had out a Sandshrew.  He went first, and
Sand-Attacked.  I try to Jab, but I fail.  He keeps on doing this 'till I
have 10HP left (I can't attack!  I think the con was rigged. . .), but I have
a trick up my sleeve.  I wisely use a Super Energy Removal on his benched
Aerodactyl, discarding the energy on Hitmonchan, then I Scoop Up.  I send out
Electabuzz (whoops), discard the two energy already on him, and send out a
fully pumped Hitmonchan.  I keep on killing his Sandshrews, then I kill his
Aerodactyl for the last prize.

WIN

Record: 1-0

Round Two:
Al with Rain Dance

Okay, this is hard to believe, but I killed three of his Pokémon with
Jigglypuff!!  Well, what happened is that his energy was on the bottom of his
deck.  At the beginning of the match, I sent out my only basic, Jigglypuff,
planning to get killed.  He sends out a Squirtle, I attach a Double
Colorless, and Pound.  He eolves to Wartortle, I Pound again.  He then
evolves to Blastoise, I keep on Pounding 'till he's dead.  He then sends out
a Gyarados.  I kill him with Pound, too.  He sends out a Golduck, I Pound it
to death.  He finally draws a energy, so I send out a Electabuzz.  He
forfeits.

WIN

Record: 2-0

Round Three:
Patrick (Note: Last tourney I incorrectly called him Josh) with Mono-Psychic

I start with a Jigglypuff and a Mysterious Fossil on the bench.  I Pound his
Abra, he Potions and attacks for 0 (resistance), but he Paralizes.  I evolve
Aerodactyl, and it's his turn.  He Paralizes again!!  Okay, he then sends out
Mew and devolves my Aerodactyl.  I just revolve him on my turn, and I Pound
for 20.  He retreats Mew, sends out Abra, and tries to evolve into Kadabra,
thinking that Aerodactyl's Pokémon Power only works when you call it.  I
explain that it doesn't, so he Psyshocks, without Paralizing.  I Pound, then
once again he doesn't Paralize.  I kill Abra, he sends out Mew, does Psywave
for 10 damage, then I Pound, next turn, Psywave for 10, then I Pound for the
win (no basics).

WIN

Record: 3-0

Round Four:
Raymond (again) with "Hydroslash"

He sends out a Hitmonlee, I send out Scyther, he put a energy, I put a Double
Colorless.  He puts another energy, and does Stretch Kick to Aerodactyl.  I
attach a energy and slash, he Hi Jump Kicks for 20.  I slash him out of the
game, he then puts his Fossil out, thinks he can evolve it, but I say
"Uh-uh."  He then gets Slashed out of the game because of no basics.

WIN

Record: 4-0

I lost my badge book, so I had to start over, but I ended up getting the
Promo Mewtwos I need for my Psyshock deck (coming next week) by trading
Patrick.  It was a close game everyone who played me, and thanks for playing.

Time for Props and Slops!

Props:

Props, once again, to Rebecca for being an awesome Gym Leader.
Props to Patrick for trading me the Mewtwos.
Props to Patrick for not arguing with me for telling him Aerodactyl's Pokémon
Power's always on.
Props to my brother for letting me play him at home and figure out I needed
to add the Scoop Ups.
Props to Borders for hosting the league.

Slops:

Slops to myself for telling you last week that my report would be longer.

Thanks,
Talon
