Hiya Pojo dudes!!!  This is the Goober from Iowa, and I just dominated all in
a cool league event at regal hobbies, near the closing jumbo sports.  I used
a deck that I like to cal: Duck Damage.  Here's how it works:

4x Hitmonchan (hey, he's a fast hitter and gets the job done.  Great for
early game)
4x Hitmonlee (Hitmonchans counterpart.  great for middle-late game and for
poking bench)
4x Psyduck (Needed for Evo, and furry swipes isn't too shabby.)
3x Golduck (Energy removal, cool hp, and his hyper beam is the cheapest there
is!  I based the deck around him)
3x Scyther (What can i say, he counts as a colorless in my book.  Covers the
other colorless guys too with resistance)
4x Jigglypuff (Auto sleep works for me)
3x Wigglytuff (with a full bench, 3 energy for 60 damage rocks!)

12x Fighting Energy
10x Water Energy
3x Double colorless energy

3x Gust of wind  (now, I get to choose my opponent's active.  Bam!  insta
kill)
4x Energy Removal (Drives em crazy)
4x Super Energy removal (Double what i said above.)
2x Professor Oak (works well for card advantage)
2x Energy Retrieval (get back theones you lost.  cool!)
2x Computer search (get what you need when you need it.)

About 15 people were there.  (not a big turnout since this one kid was
selling illegal preopened packs.  He said that one had 5 holos, but none did.
He got kicked out. :) He he)
Round 1 - Idiot with Electric Psychic
My first round was against this one guy with a Electric Psychic deck.  First
turn, he has out a magnemite, i have a duck.  I whack him with swipes, then
my next turn, evolve it to goldie.  Even then, he might have gotten out of
it, but he insisted on evolving his pokemon as soon as possible the whole
game.  of course, most the time his evolved had energy costs he couldn't pay.
It went downhill (for him) from there.  I finally killed his mewtwo with my
Scyther.  I energy removed it, gusted it out, and beat the H*ll out of it.
Record:  1-0   Win by Prize

Round 2 - 10 year old with something-i-didn't-get-a-chance-to-figure-out
Fairly simple.  He starts with a pinsir.  Evolves slowpoke on bench into
slowbro and gets no more basic.  I keep poking pinsir with hyper beam.
Slowbro getfilled up and gets mr. fujied back to the deck.  I take out the
pinsir, and the slowbro isn't there to take it's place anymore
Record:  2-0   Win by lack of basic

Round 3 - Ross with Colorless deck
Way too easy.  Apparently, this deck was based on evonlution, so the basics
weren't very powerful. All he got were 3 dratinis.  It took hitmonchan only
three turns to win it.  I thought about using an Imposter oak on him to help
him get evos, but i realized that not only did i want this game to end, but
there weren't any in my deck.
Record:  3-0  Win by lack of Basic

Round 4 - 9 Year old with Psychic deck.
Close call here.  Took me a while to realze that half of my deck was Psychic
vulnerable.  I decided to use Scythers as much as possible.  He had a thing
for mews, fortunatly, so it wasn't hard to take him out since his "big gun"
was worthless to my one-energy attacks.  Hitmonchans weren't so hard to use.
This guy finally broke down when my wigglytuff nailed his slowpoke that was
gusted into the open.  Oh yeah!
Record:  4-0  Win by Prizes

Round 5 - Alex with GrassDragon
That was one screwed up deck, but it was just a false alarm.  I got really
scared when he layed down two d.c.e.s on his dratini on the first two turns
and breeded him into dragonite on the second, but it wasn't to hard to beat.
He hit an energy early on, and since i was able to CPU search for Oaks to
help me get more ERs and SERs, it wasn't so bad.  Golduck helped a lot, and
Hitmonlee helped me to poke the bench while the immobile and pacified
dragonair was out.  Easy win after the first three turns.
Record:  5-0  Win by Prizes

I was on a roll, but it was too bad that time was called shortly after that
match.  My water-fighting deck proved to be a winner, and I got a cool
azmount of points for my book.  And, i traded for a few dittos to replace my
jigglys and wigglys with when up against a fighting deck.

Props to my parents for bringing me
Props to that kid with dratinis for a quick win
Props to Alex for going easy (at least thats what he said)
Props to WotC for putting a Holo Hitmonlee in that last Fossil Booster :)

Slops to that ross kid for the false "panic!" alarm
Slops to Hitmonlee for not being useful
Slops to me for not having enough slops
