    It's me, Adam C. again.  Since there are never tournaments around here I go to the Pokemon League at Zany Brainy every week.  I'll try to type a report every week even though it's not as exciting as a tournament.  All the kids are novices so it's not much of a challenge.  It's mostly good for trading.
    Well, I'm using Hot Jalepeno Potpourri again since I've had a lot of success with it.  I changed it to meet my preferences.  Like I took Professor Oak out for Gambler because I don't like discarding my hand and it replenishes your deck.  Enough jibber-jabber, onto the report.

Round 1 vs. Q. Dang with a Fire, Fighting, Psychic Deck
I forget this kid's name but his deck isn't that good.  It had base set Gastly and Haunter, Machops, and other stuff, but he added fire this week to either beat my Scyther's or because I've always beaten him with my deck.  I draw my hand and get Scyther and some other stuff.  He starts Ponyta with Abra, Machop and Hitmonchan on the bench.  I lose the coin toss so he goes first.  He gave an energy to Ponyta and said go.  Things don't look good for me so I gusted his Hitmon' out to buy some time.  I gave an energy to Scyther and said go.  He gave an energy to Ponyta on the bench and said go.  I gave a D.C. to Scyther and did a Gambler before I attacked.  I got heads and got Electabuzz, Mr. Mime, and other good stuff.  I benched 'Buzz and Slashed Hitmonchan.  He benched a base Gastly and gave an energy to 'Monchan (why did he do that?) and said go.  I drew a Plus Power (goodie!), gave an energy to 'Buzz, and Slashed with a P.P. for a prize. He promoted his Ponyta which had become a Rapidash and did Stomp which did 40 damage.  I retreated Scyther and put out Electabuzz and gave an energy to it.  I then gusted out his little ol' Abra and Thunder Punched it for a prize.  He put out Rapidash once again. He did Stomp and got heads.  I Thunder Punched his pony so it was in meditating range.  He did Agiliy and got tails.  I then retreated 'Buzz and put out a Mr. Mime which I had been pumping on the bench and meditated the Pony for another prize.  The rest of the game I Slashed all his Pokemon with Scyther very easily.  In the end I won by prizes 6-1.  What was funny was that he had a base Haunter out but could never keep my Scyther asleep to do Dream Eater and the one time he did he didn't have enough energy!

Round 2 vs. Girl with a deck without much energy
This girl usually trades the whole time, but today she tried to make a deck.  I don't think it had any energy in it.  I drew my hand and got Scyther as my only basic again.  All she had was Jigglypuff.  She won the toss and said she wanted to do Pound, but I told her she needed energy to so she said go.  I gave and electric to Scyther and said go.  She drew her card and said go.  I drew a D.C. and gave it to Scyther (obviously) and did Slash.  She didn't put anymore basics down so I Slashed for another win.

Round 3 vs. Q. Dang again
I played him the first round.  I would have played someone else, but they were all playing.  I don't remember this game too well, but I'll try my best.  All I remember was that he got out Jynx, Abra, and Kadabra while I had Magmar, 'Buzz, and Mime.  I just Thunder Punched his Abra then put Mime vs his Kadabra and Jynx.  He forgot about Mime's Poke Power and put out Jynx and evolved another Abra on his bench into Kadabra.  He did Double Slap with Jynx but got no heads.  I did Meditate for 20.  He started to pump his Kadabra to beat Mr. Mime. Then he did Double Slap with one head.  I then Meditated for a second prize.  He then sent out Kadabra and said go since he didn't have enough energy.  I did Meditate. He gave Kadabra an energy and did Super Psy, but then I reminded him about Mr. Mime's Poke Power.  I then Meditated for a third prize and since it was time to go I won.

Record 3-0

Well so far I haven't lost here yet with this deck.  I think I got 80 points total for being there and everything.  The third Scyther in my deck is actually a Farfetch'd since I need another Scyther.  I bought one booster pack and I got lucky.  I got the third Scyther I needed for my deck!  Afterwards I had dinner at a Chinese Restaurant called Su Tau.  I'm vegetarian and all their food is vegetarian so it's cool.  Time for Props and Slops!
