I have just came back from the STS in New Jersey.  It was my first
tournament I ever went to.  I pre-registered about four days before and was
still able to register.  I woke up at 5:30am and left at 6:15am from West
Haven, Connecticut, hitting traffic, and arriving at 8:00 am.  I took a
picture of the PIkachu car and went inside.  I immediately signed in and
walked around, noticing there was absolutely nothing to do to 10:00.  I did
two practice battles and noticed that I hate Scyther.  (Notice:  If Drew
Jacob is reading this, I did have 15 trainers, not 14....This is my first
problem.)  This trainer problem messes me up later in the tournament.  I mean
it really messes me up.  I decided to ask around for another rocket zapdos.
Apparently,  everyone was looking for one.  Though I did find this awesome
kid who asked me if I needed it for my deck.  I said, "Yes," and he gave me a
first edition one for free.  I forgot his name, but he really helped me.  I
now take out my two scythers and put in two R. Zapdoses.  Take out 4 grass
energies and put in 3 lighting, plus a plus power.   (REMEMBER THIS PART)
By the time I finished,  the tournament was ready to begin.

HayTuff  (version ?)     This is what the deck is supposed to look like

Pokemon 16
3 Jigglys
3 Wigglys
3 Psyburn Mewtwos
3 Electrabuzzes
2 Dittos
2 Rocket Zapdos

Trainers 15
3 Oaks
2 SER
1 CPU
1 Switch
1 Defender
2 PP
1 Challenge!
1 Scoop up
2 G.O.W
1 Super Potion

Energies 29
1 Rainbow
2 Potion
3 Double Colorless
9 Psychic
14 Electric

This is what my deck was supposed to look like. But before the tournament
started, I added a plus power and one less grass energy.  During the first
seven rounds, one of my trainers was stuck behind another card and I never
noticed it or unstuck it.  This is what explodes in my face at the end.

Round 1 verse a haymaker:
This was a quick match, I remember either Mewtwo or Electrabuzz knocking
everything out.  I think he kept uses trainers to find evolved pokemon that
he doesn't have the basics of.  Can't remember that much.
1 and 0 (3 points)

Round Two verse Mulligan Mewtwo deck
Before the match starts, he can't find a basic for six turns and I pick
up 12 cards.  But each time, I noticed either he had all psychic energies or
Erikas.  He finally get a basic.  I know it is a Mewtwo as a I put down
Jiggly as my starter.  He goes first and puts a psychic on mewtwo. On my turn
I put a lighting energy on Jigglypuff and lullaby.  He doesn't wake up,
yes!!!!  He put an energy down and passes.  I computer search for double
colorless, evolve to Wiggly, and put down five basics directly from my hand,
lucky me.  Do the wave and K.O.
2 and 0 (6 points)

Round Three verse Haymaker
This is the round where I did the stupidest thing I have ever done in any
pokemon game.  He puts down one basic and I put down ditto.  I win the flip
and he flips over Scyther.  I have nothing but basic energy in my hand and a
CPU.  I put down a psychic energy and swordsdance.  He goes, uses many Misty
Wraths, puts down Jigglypuff, retreats, attaches double colorless and does
pound.  Here it is......  I use CPU to find Double colorless, attach it, and
try to do slash for sixty.  I'm a freaking idiot!!!  I don't know what I was
thinking.  I'm over in the match now, I do pound, he evolves, fulls his bench
and I'm over with.
2 and 1 (6 points)

Round 4 verse Haymaker of course.....
I didn't like this round.  This kid kept making me so mad saying that I
didn't pick up a prize the same turn, I couldn't at all.  The judges fixed
him.  I had Electrabuzz out most of game.  There was even more confusion when
he put down a Chaos Gym.....whatever.  I ended up winning after he retreated
a ditto with 50 damage and me knocking out his rocket snorlax
3 and 1 (9 points)

Round 5 and 6 verse Haymakers
These were easy rounds and one of them was a 2nd turn win.  I got mad
when a kid kept counting my cards and counted 59.  I showed him It was 60.  I
have thought of something, when I counted the cards my self, I made those two
sticky cards split and I counted 60.  This concludes in the seventh round.

5 and 1 (Fifteen points)

Round 7 verse Haymaker, here is my finale.....
I did win this round and I was very happy.  I was so happy I told my that
he could examine my cards.  He looks at the cards, counts sixty, but counts
16 trainers.  I was in shock, there were 16 trainers.  The kid calls a judge
over and he asks what happens now.  The judge says that I did win the round
and I got three points.  BUT, he said that I must be penalized next round.  I
was thinking, does my next opponent only play with 3 prizes or something like
that.  But I learn that the extra trainer automatically makes me lose the
next match.  I was so mad.  I would have accepted any other penalty, I would
have battled again, anything....If I was cheating I wouldn't have let my
opponent of the 7th round see my deck.  I of course didn't supposedly cheat
on purpose.

Between rounds...
I went up to see my rankings after the 7th round.  I was in 11th!!  The
top 12 get to be in the semifinals after the next round.  I get mad and do
King of the hill.  I do one battle and I'm winning but I forfeit because my
opponent needed only one win to get 3 booster packs.  He offers me a pack but
I refuse.  Also, I wanted to check out If they put my name on the 8th round
pairings, and they did.  So I go to my table and say hello to my opponent who
is from Chicago.  I'm in a very gloomy mood because I know the judge remember
me.  I start of with my electrabuzz verse a doduo.  I go first and do 20
without paralyzing.  He couldn't find a basic or maybe he did.  I think he
got a dodrio out but I k'oed it.  I am still in a gloomy mood and he is too.
The score cards come around and I'm already put down as a loss.  I told him
what happened, that he won, and is probably in the semifinals which he was.
But he was still not too enjoyed because he didn't like the fact that he beat
me because of a disqualification from a whole different round.   He was
pretty cool and lucky because he got a by on the last round.  Him and I asked
some judges about me automatically losing and they said nothing that I didn't
hear already.  One nice judge said I should be happy because I was at the
best table including the best players......I'm not.....

After:

I turned out to get in 25th place.  I could have been 5th with one more win.
I did not stay to see the final results, I hope my last opponent won or
someone I knew.  Maybe even the opponent I battled in my stupid round.  I
stayed a bit for Erika's Challenge but I didn't get picked in the raffle.
If I did not have sticky plastics or I hadn't made that stupid mistake;  I
would have continued and I think I could have made it to the finals.  I saw
someone from Pojo taking pictures and I got my picture taken in front of the
Dark Raichu.  I ended up with 17 booster packs, but nothing good.  I'm mad.
Its 1:30 am, I'm going to sleep.

PROPS AND SLOPS:
