Ah, I have waited for this day for a long, long
time. Today is the New Jersey STS qualifyer in Norway at haandverker'n.
I was there early, signed up and got an DCI
membership card.
I grabbed a free Nintendo Magazine, and waited for
the tourney to start. I met my friend there, Eskil Vestre who appeared to
win the whole tourney. He came with his friends Andreas and Steven. I had a
great hope to get no NJ, cuz a friend of mine in Chicago promised to visit me
if I won.
OK, Enough babbling, here's the deck.

Here's how it went
Round 1 against ????? with Mono-Grass
Either his deck is very bad, or else I took out
he's Pokes before he got to evolve them.
He start with a Caterpie active and a benched
Weedle.
I have an active Scyther and a benched Chan and
Buzz.
He won the coin flip, draw, slaps down an grass
and String Shots without paralysis.
I drew, slaps down an fighting on Chan,retreats
Scyther,plays PlusPower,Sneak Attack his Oak, Bills, CPU with 2 Supers, then
Oak.
I got another PlusPower, Lay it down and KO his
Caterpie.
He sends out Weedle, lays down energy, sting me w.
poison. 20 on Chan. I draw, ER his Weedle, Scoop chan, Scyther, retreat and
out with chan, another fighting and KO Weedle for the game.
Good Game, whoever I played. ;)
Round 2 VS Eskil Vestre
This is the one who won the tourney. It was quite
a long time ago, so i can't remember much.
I started with Scyther active and Buzz on my
bench. He had a Promo Mewtwo active and a benched Buzz.
I win the coin toss, drew and Sneak Attack his
CPU.
Slap down an fighting on Scyther, and says go.
He lays down an Psy on Mewtwo, Oaks away some Psy
Energies, some lightning and a Rainbow.
He Item Findered, then he Absorbed.
I draw, ER one of the Psychics, slap down an DCE,
and Slash him for 30.
He drew, slapped down an psychic on Mewtwo, ER'ed
my DCE, and Psyburned.
I drew an Chan, put it on my bench, retreats and
put an Lightning on my actice Buzz.
Shock, no paralysis.
He drew, putdown Scyther, gust out Chan and KO it.
I send out Buzz, drew, and I have some energy
problems, so I have to shock him, no paralysis.
He use Item Finder, gust out Scyther, lays an
lightning on Buzz, and KO my Scyther.
I draw an lightning, put it on Buzz and Punches
him for the KO. tails.
He put out Buzz, Bills twice, lay down 2
PlusPowers, flip, and it's...it's HEADS!
I lost becouse of no Basics.

Round 3 VS ?????? with Wigglymaker.
I don't remember much of this match, but he was
low on Energy, he had Jiggly and Scyther, and he got a lightning and a
fighting on Scyther before my
Ditto KO it. He get out Jiggly and make me sleep.
tails. Still asleep.
I drew, Scoop Up Ditto, and send out my chan with
2 PlusPowers for the game.

Round 4 VS ???????? with Cleaner? Deck.
I wonder how this guy got 6 points.
He had an active Ponyta and a benched Growlithe.
I had an active Scyther, and a benched Ditto.
I won the Coin Flip, drew, Bill, Retreat, send out
Ditto, lay down and DCE and a PlusPower for the kill.
He send out Growlithe, attached an energy, and
passed.
I lay down an grass on Ditto, and Flares him.
He attaches energy, evolves to Base Arcanine!!!!!!!!
and passes.
I lay down an Hitmonchan, lays a fighting on
Ditto, and Take Down for the win.
Good Game, whoever I played ;)
Finals:
Round 5 against Ole with Rain Dance.
His Rain Dance is good, I have seen it when he
played against some others, but I only saw an Rocket Squirtle. He has a lone
Rocket Squirtle against my lone Buzz.
I drew, lay down an lightning and a PlusPower,
Computer Search for another PlusPower, then Oak, Bill, another Oak, Bill,
and there's the last PlusPower.
I KO him for the win.

Semi-Final VS Steven Widlic
This was an quite exiting match, we were down to
two prizes each, when I decked myself. Sorry about the lack of stuff from this
match, but I don't remember something.

I got quite disappointed after that match, but I
came over it, and got 8 boosters for the 3rd place.
Now it's time for the famous Props and Slops.
