I attended a tournament at Tri-County Flea Market in New York. I am not sure
of the exact date, but it was about two weeks ago. About 50 people attended
it. I used a tri-color Haymaker: It contains Electric, Fighting, and Fire.
Here it is:

6 Fire Energy
7 Lightning Energy
11 Fighting
4 Double Colorless

1 Hitmonchan
4 Machop
3 Rattata
2 Farfetch'd
1 Scyther
2 Electabuzz
2 Magmar

2 Prof. Oak
4 Energy Removal
2 PlusPower
1 Scoop Up
4 Bill
2 Potion
2 Gust of Wind

First Match:  against a young boy, about 7, with a new starter deck. No
contest.  It was the first time he used it, directly out of the box.  All of
the Pokémon were at the top, and all of the energy at the bottom.  He barely
got any energy, so he couldn't attack.

Second Match: against a girl about 12 years old, with a modified Overgrowth.
Magmar wiped out most of her plant Pokémon, but then she used Gyarados and
killed them both.  Scyther finished off Gyarados, and the rest of her water
Pokémon lost to Machops and Electabuzzes. She put up a good fight, but I won
again.

Third Match: against a kid about 10, who was obviously spoiled.  His deck was
mono-Fire, and it had 4 Charizard, 4 Ninetales, and 2 Arcanine. Electabuzz
seemed to be the best in this game.  Along with some Energy Removals, he ran
out of fire energy and he had to use Devolution spray so he could attack.
Hitmonchan finished off his useless, no-energy Pokémon.  I beat him easily.

Fourth Match: against a girl about 8 years old, with a Plant and Electric
deck.  I had my hitmonchan out in the beginning, and it breezed though both
her Raichus (she probably fixed her deck, by the fourth turn she had two
Raichu) but her Nidoking killed two of my Rattatas. She actually did well,
since she brought me down to one prize.  Farfetch'd and Scyther dominated the
later portion of this round. I win again.

Fifth Match: against a 15 year old with a Rain Dance.  Electabuzz smoked his
Squirtles and Wartortles before he could evolve them. Scyther knocked out his
Poliwrath, but his Gyarados killed my Hitmonchan, a Rattata, and a Farfetch'd
before I got my Magmar out.  I used two Energy Removals on Gyarados and
killed it with two Flamethrowers. Surprisingly, he evolved one of his benched
Eevees into a Jolteon, using only the colorless energy requirements to use
Quick attack (very sneaky).  He beat my Magmar, and finally it was down to my
first Electabuzz versus his Jolteon.  He flipped three tails with Pin Missile
the first time, and I was lucky enough to do 40 damage to it.  Eventually
Electabuzz prevailed, and I won.

Sixth Match: against a 16 year old with a psychic stall deck.  He
intentionally put very few basics in so he would have mulligans, and he
thought I would run out of cards by drawing two bonus cards.  I declined to
draw the bonuses, and blew through his Mr. Mime by Paralyzing it with
Electabuzz, and then Thunder Punching. His Kadabra killed my Magmars, but he
was forced to evolve to Alakazam so he wouldn't waste energy recovering.  I
sent out a Rattata, and he couldn't hurt it one bit because of Rattata's
resistance.  A few Bites finished off his last in-play Pokémon, Alakazam, and
he lost.

Seventh Match: against a 16 year old with a basic Haymaker.  His deck was
badly shuffled, giving him 2 Bills and 2 Scythers in his hand. It killed my
first Rattata, but I sent out Magmar and finished off his Scythers.  His
Electabuzz killed my Magmar, but I got a Machop out in time to smoke
Electabuzz.  My last in-play Pokémon was Electabuzz, and his was Hitmonchan,
so he won.

I won two Booster packs as prizes, and pulled Venusaur and Super Energy
Removal.  This deck worked out pretty well, with just a few low energy
problems.
