Hi, this tournaments was held at
Fort St, in 5 of Spetember, 1999, Sydney, Australia.
Here is my (exceedingly strange)
deck. I call it (for some reason) Ripped Jeans.

REPORT
Round one against a guy of my age, about twelve. I
think he just bought s starter pack with no boosters and came to the tourney.
I won easily, even though his Machops gave me a teeny bit of trouble at the
start, since they're so fast.

Round two against this teenager about fifteen, his
name was Josh. He had a raindance deck and began to cut me into pieces with
those lousy Poli's. Poliwhirl especially was annoying, double slap hurt alot
against my fire pokemon. I really need a few scythers to speed up this deck.
Anyway, I finally got out a Nidokingm pumped up max. I retreated my badly
bashed Charmeleon, and used toxic, which KOed his Poliwhirl
(Finally!)...And...he sent out a Blastoise. Luckily, with only four energy on
it. But it was enough to almost half kill my Nidoking. My turn, I potioned my
Nidoking twice, and glanced at his hand (C'mon, everyone does it) and seeing
about a million Potions and GOWs, I Imposter Professor Oak'd him. And I used
toxic against Blastoice, bringing him down to 60 at the end of my turn. His
turn, he used water gun again, and brought my Nidoking down to 30 or 40
somehow. My turn, Blastoise on 40 HP (God bless Toxic!) and would you beleive
it, I used Toxic again, Blastoise on 20 HP, now, end of my turn, it takes 20
again, IT FAINTS!!! I grab my last prize, and VICTORY! Ooooh yeah, that was a
tough match!
Round 3 Quarter Final)
Some guy with a psychic grass deck. Got out my
Chansey early, stuck a a DCE plus some other energy on it by my third
turn,double edged, grabbed a prize. His turn, he attacked with some card,
dealt only 20 damage to my Chansey, so I double edged AGAIN and grabbed my
second prize, unfortunately, he got one because I sacked Chansey.
That was just the beginning, I finally beat him 6
prizes to 3.
Round 4 (Semi Final)
Electric Water deck. Close all the way through,
and when we were both going to deck out, and we both needed only one prize to
win, he KOed Electrode for Buzzap. I said I win. He looked at me like I was
crazy, and said tht KOing Electrode doesn't count as a KO. I called over a
judge, he said I won, and the bloke I played glared rather vicously at me.
FINAL!
Erm...I drew two mulligans, so with only 5 cards
in my hand, my opponent with a Grass Lightning deck thrashed me. Lousy
Electabuzz! He beat me on turn 4.
Ah, well, a record of 4-1 ain't bad. And I got $50
Australian. (WHich is about 30 bucks AMerican, US types!)
