I just started playing the game tonight.  I purchased the Zap deck and
the Brushfire deck to start playing.  The Zap deck at the
recommendation of the Gym Leader and Brushfire at the advice of the
coaches... Well I got killed using both decks.  Then I took the decks
apart and used the psi from Zap and the grass from Brushfire... It made
a pretty wicked combo...  The league was at Zany Brainy. I ended up
playing 6 times tonight winning my last 4!

Round 1:
Zap Deck - Only had 2 basic in hand - Pikachu & Magnemite - Didn't draw
well for 3 turns and it was over! Up against a Water deck... Can't
remember who killed me!

Round 2:
Brushfire Deck - ouch! great draw, but no energy... Had 6 basics in
hand, 1 evolve, but no energy! First draw was a Bill, played and got an
energy... My charmander put up a great fight, but lost in a flame out!
Again the water did me in! I think this is when I decided to make the
two decks into one... after losing to water again!

Round 3:
Combined Deck - Used Mewtwo off the bat... Got a couple of E cards on
him quick, and kept up the barrier attack.  This let me build up my
bench and I switched him out for a kadabra. Kadabra kicked off 4 basics
and an evolved! Everytime I got close to kicking the bucket, I just
recovered and lost an energy!

Round 4:
Same as three but skipped the Mewtwo stage...

Round 5:
Used the poison attack with Weedle and used the time to develop a
gastly into a haunter put the pokemon to sleep and attacked!

Round 6:
JYNX!!! from start to finish, this one was all Jynx... Had two of him
in my hand, one active and one benched. As soon as he hit, he started
doing more damage... :)

Here is the deck...
Tangela 2
Nidoran 4
Weedle 4
Drowzee 2
Gastly 3
Haunter 2
Jynx 2
Mewtwo 1
Abra 3

Psi Energy 11
Professor Oak 1
Energy Retrieve 2
Energy Remove 1
Bill 2
PlusPower 1

I know that as I get more cards, that I can make this deck stronger,
but if anyone has any tips to use from the two decks I bought, let me
know! :)
