Hey PoJo. I finally found a DCI sanctioned tourney but it was REALLY
pathetic. There were FOUR friggin' participants, and it was DCI
sanctioned!!!!!! So obviously there was 1 round to the final match. We (the
4 of us) get paired up randomly and the winners play each other for first
place. Best 2 of 3 games. Here's my deck, then my report:

22 water energy
4 squirtle
2 wartortle
3 blastoise
2 poliwag
1 poliwrath
2 magikarp
1 gyarados
1 gust of wind

First round:
    I played my friend named sean. He was playing rain dance just like me.
He thinks he's gonna win everthing and crush everybody, Yeah right. This
game wasn't very good for me. He starts with squirtle while I start with
poliwag. He quickly gets a blastoise out but I energy removal, super energy
removal and gust of wind to saty alive. I finally get out my big guys. But
he kills them off. We both have 3 prizes left while all I have is a couple
of squirtles and a magikarp. All my big dudes are dead and I end up decking
myself.

Second game goes a bit better. We both start with squirtle but I get
blastoise before him and rain dance him out of the game. All he has is
magikarps and squirtles. HaHaHaHaHa.................I win.
Match record:0-0/game record:1-1

I love this! I get squirtle, wartortle, blastoise, 2 water, an energy
retrieval, and a bill. I get blastoise fully powered on turn 3. He has a
blasoise also, the battle goes on for a couple of turns while we potion and
super potion. I finally get some damage on his blastoise without hi
potioning. He kills my blastoise but then fully pumped gyarados comes in to
win it. I beat the kid who thinks he's unstopable.

Now I am already playing for first. It is against my biggest threat:my
friend charles. He is playing fighting/electric haymaker(uh-oh..........). I
get squirtle, wartortle, and some energy. I finally get blastoise,
poliwrath, and gyarados fully pumped with one prize left. They come in
one-by-one to win the game. Pretty short.

HaHaHaHaHa................I get poliwag, magikarp, gyarados, and energy. He
keeps energy removaling but I finally get enough to attck. I take out a
couple of hitmonchans and a farfetch'd by the time gyarados is gone. Then
blastoise comes in and amazingly takes out an electabuzz!! His second
electabuzz can't withstand enegy removals so I kill it to. I finally come
around to win it and I get first.
final record: matches:2-1/games:4-1

I get  jungle first edition packs. I get holo snorlax, non holo scyther(my
third) and non holo pinsir.
