Hey Pojo! this is my first deck i've sent in. i took this deck to a tourney 
in the Kitsap
Silverdale mall at Wizards of the coast. it was on tuesday the 20th of July. 
there were 8
people.
                    ok so here's my deck:
Hitmonchan, your our man!


Trainers:

X2 Plus Power (for something like if your opponent has 40 HP and you can do 
pot smash
for 30, use plus power and knock them out)
X2 energy retrieval (for special punch & flame thrower)
X2 S. Energy Removal: (to stall and build up special punch or flame thrower 
at the same
time)
X2 Switch (if someone has a resistance  to fighting or fire use switchand 
send in someone
else)
X1 Prof Oak (hmmm.... why put this in your deck?)
X4 Energy Removal (same as super)
X3 Bill (get energy, "Chans", and Magmars fast)
X1 Potion (Just in case)
X2 Gust of wind (send out a weak pokemon and BAM)
X1 Scoop up (prevent your opponent from getting a prize card)

Pokemon

X3 Farfetch'd (Great against fighting pokemon [especially with energy 
removal])
X3 Charmander (use ember)
X1 Charmeleon (flamethrower away!)
X3 Magmar (great pokemon with what else but... FLAMETHROWER!)
X2 Hitmonchan (Jab is good for 1 energy and Special punch is great 
especially against
colorless![not birds though])
X2 Machop (next best thing from hitmonchan)

Energy

Fire: 15
Fighting: 11


If you do make this deck, if you have more hitmonchans take out machops and 
add them
in (or visa versa if you dont have enough hitmonchans). Stratagy: in the 
starting hand if you
get: Chan/Machop then Jab/Kick or S. Punch  while building up magmar or 
charmeleon.
if you get: Fetch'd do the same as above.
if you get: Char,  then ember until you get charmeleon then flamethrower!
if you get: Magmar, fire punch then flamethrower.

Now for the tourney:

Prizes: 1st 5 boosters 2nd 2 boosters 3rd 1 booster

I got third place but i would've goten first except just about everyone used 
PSI decks (one guy had leaf PSI)

Round 1
(0-0)

This guy didnt win once

Game 1: I drew Charmander with plenty of energy and he only drew Gastly. you 
know what will happen
game 2: i drew Chan with plenty of evergy and he drew growlithe. i won*

*we were the first to finish so i talked to my good friend Tony (the 
gymleader/master at Wizards) and then the guy i beat came up to tony and 
asked how to win and tony told him. then he said that he had another benched 
pokemon (he didnt) and we had to play the 2nd match again(i drew Chan again 
and won) Tony said he knew i would win.

Round 2
(1-0)

I had to fight a guy named Anthony (he's the one with the PSI Leaf deck)

Game1: i got Charmander and he got venonat, i won
Game2: i got Charmander and two machops and he got venonat and abra, i sent 
out charmander and he sent out venonat. he went first and put energy on 
abra. i scratched venonat for 20. he put more energy on abra
and i killed venonat. he sent out abra evolved put an energy down and killed 
all my guys with super psy
game3: i got hitmonchan and he got abra. he went first and killed hitmonchan 
by paralize.

Round 3
(1-1)

this guy was 1st place and undefeted. so lets just say i lost... bad

ok so the next 2 i won

Round 6
(3-2)

the final battle for 3rd place and i was fighting none other than anthony

game 1: the old charmander vs venonat battle, i won
game 2: this game dragged on and on with my special punch winning because i 
kept taking his energy and he finally evolved into venomoth so my special 
punch would only do 10 so i just retreated and sent magmarand flamethrowered 
and won!*

*Tony was watching and wenever i did something he nodded like he would've 
done that
