just this weekend I was in a tournament at games hobbies and collectables in Laguna Hills, CA. The tournament had around 16-20 people (somewhere in there) and was a three round, best of three tournament with the top four at the end in single elimination matches. After testing it at my friends house for hours on end before the tournament, this deck beat him 8 out of 10 times. Here it is... energy: 11 water energy 13 fighting energy 3 double colorless energy(power those chanseys!) pokemon: 1 poliwrath 2 poliwhirl 4 poliwag 1 blastoise 2 wartortle 4 squirtle 4 hitmochan(backbone of this deck) 1machamp 2 machoke 4 machop 2 chanseys trainers: 2 pokemon traders 1 super potion 3 potion 2 energy removal 2 prof. oak tourney results: ending with a record of 4-2, I didn't make it to the final 4 elimination due to a rule where when a game ends, you count your prizes. Whoever has the least prizes accumulated in the event of a tie (in standings) moves on. this was unfortunate for me because my friend with only a brushfire deck got 4th and I got 5th because of this (damn stupid little...)!!! And when he advances, he imediatley forfeits!!!!!!!! oh well...here are the results. round one(ding ding): "bob" vs. 7 year old ( name unavailable ) a mono-electric deck with a electabuzz and voltorbs and pikachus, a easy match. he starts with electabuzz only, I start with a hitmochan out and a poliwag and another hitmochan on my bench. he has a hand full of basics and no energy and I easily kill electabuzz...but he has no basics down so he loses. The same thing happend in the second game so nothing much here... round two(ding ding): "bob" vs. weird psycic/white deck yup... psycic and colorless, lucky for me it was mostly colorless. He starts off with a kangaskhan out and a chansey on his bench. I had another hitmochan out with squirtle on my bench and later I would draw wartortle. I almost killed his...khan...uh...whatever but somehow he puts down two potions and a energy removal and stals hitmochan while putting down a double-colorless energy, he definetly stacked his deck. I hit him with Jab, but he put down another double colorless and uses comet punch. He got three heads and dealt 60 damage, but not enough. I killed him with 10hp left and another loaded hitmochan and wartortle on the bench. Free cruisin' against his chansey from here, no basics. game two was easier, he came out with a chansey and a drowsey and abra on his bench. I got machop out also with a chansey on my bench. He attached double colorless to his chansey and scrunched for the next five turns. eventually I got out poliwhirl and a pokemon trader ( the best trainer out there) and got poliwrath. my machop died gloriously against what became his kadabra after killing chansey (how he killed it, bad coin tosses by my opponent). after that, I advanced. game three (ding ding): "bob" vs. mono-grass Thiss was pretty one sided considering the guy was 25 and worked at the store the tournament was held at AND partly got paid in boosters... this guy came in 1st overall. I bring out hitmochan he brings out bulbasaur, he dies brings out pumped venusaur, I die, thats game one. game two was nearly EXACTLY the same! dang you Venusaur! I didn't advance because of the prize card rule. My deck should be used as either for Chansey to stall or hitmochan to catch your opponent off guard. use my deck properly and give me advice for my deck other than "less pokemon more trainers!!". It does well as is so please make it better.PLEASE POST THIS POJO!!!!!!!! TRY IT AND MY DECK WIL PROVE ITSELF TO YOU!!! thank you. p.s.: e-mail me at Mwallerste@aol thanks from "bob"
