Hey pojo! This is my great deck called Hydroblast. Its kinda like a part rain dance, part overgrowth deck: x27 water energy x4 Squirtle x2 Warturtle x2 Blastoise x3 Magikarp x2 Gyrados x4 Poliwag x3 Poliwhril x2 Poliwrath x3 Energy Removal x2 Super Energy Removal x1 Pokemon Breeder x2 Bill x1 Professor Oak x2 Computer Search I went to a tournament in a store called Rainy Day Games in Beaverton, Oregon, on July 27.It was a swiss one, and I placed second. Game 1: Me vs. Sarah She was playing a Fire/psychic deck and her only basic was a Mewtwo. Mine was a Poliwag and a Magikarp on the bench. She went first and placed a fire energy on Mewtwo and its my turn. I draw a water energy and place on magikarp then evolved it. All I did then was load up Gyrados then attack with dragon rage to win. Game 2: Me vs. Grant He had a fire/grass deck and I had a Ponyta out and Bellsprout on bench. Easy game for me. All I do is use Poliwags water gun and in a few turns, he's out of Pokemon. Game 3: Me vs. Twin brother #1 [ I don't know his or his brothers name] I thought I would lose because all I had was a Poliwag and he was playing with a grass deck and weedle for active. He goes first and does poison sting. He flips, and it was tails! YES! My first draws a squirtle and I put him on the bench. We just go back and forth, him putting energy down energy then me removing it with energy and super energy removals. In the middle of the game, I have a fully loaded Blastoise, Poliwrath, and Gyrados, and just beat him up with Hydro Pump. Game 4: Me vs. Twin brother #2 He was playing an all electric deck and claimed he had only lost once to another rain dance deck like mine. My basics Magikarp [great...] and he has a Magnemite. I draw a card, and its a Professor Oak [yeah!]. I use it, but have to discard 5 energy, Blastoise, and Poliwhril. I draw 3 energy, a Gyrados, Poliwag, and 2 energy removal. I evolve Magikarp and place an energy under him. The next few turns I would energy remove his energy and then finally was able to do Dragon Rage. In a few turns, he was gone. Game 5, Finals: Me vs. Michael I had played for fun before the tournament with him and I knew he had a grass deck. The only basic pokemon I draw is a Poliwag. He has a Nidoran [female] and he goes first. He puts an energy under nidoran and uses fury swipes. First flip is a heads [oh-oh], next one is a tails [deep breath], and the last flip was.........HEADS. Oh shoot! Well anyway, I won 2 1st edition jungle boosters and got non-holo Mr. Mime and holo Electrode.
