YES!!! Second place!...again. But I got two boosters. I got metappod...
sandshrew...and Charizard!!! A pretty good haul. This tournament was held at
Games, Hobbies, and collectables ( he still sells pogs, sheesh). About 18-20
people showed up and electric, fighting, and grass decks where common. My
deck is called "Fat Wallet" Because most of the cards in the deck are rare, I
always get e-mails from people saying they can't get the cards because
they're too expensive. Well... DON'T TELL ME ABOUT IT. I got at least ten
e-mails saying they can't find the cards so don't bug me again. Anyway, here
it is...

Pokemon:

1 Pokemon Trader ( note: I would put in 2 poke ball/trader instead, I'm just

Tournament Report:

Most of this tournament I just basically sent one guy out, he killed two or
three guys, he dies, repeat. So I'll just give you a summary.

Round One: vs. fighting/colorless deck

game one: I bring out farfetch'd, he has resistence to fighting, I win
game two: same as game one
record: 1-0

Round Two: vs. grass/fighting deck

game one: Hitmochan is my only basic, he dies, I lose
game two: Hitmochan comes out with Farfetch'd supporting and removals, I win
game Three: chansey Double edges on the third & fourth turn with Electabuzz
on the bench, I win
record: 2-0

Round Three: vs. mono fire deck ( a 7 year old with his 14 year old brother
telling him what to do)

game one: almost no energies in my hand and a fully pumped Charmeleon comes
out, loss
game two: his charmander dies from jabs and he has no basic, win
game three: fully pumped Arcanine comes out and I only have electabuzz and
farfetch'd, loss
record:2-1

Round Four: vs. same guy as round one

game one: Hitmochan special punches and farfetch'd has resistence to
fighting, win
game two: same as game one...again, win
record:3-1

Round Five: vs. mono electric deck

game one: I energy removal and S.E.R. zapdos and go on a killing spree, win
game two: his stuffed pikachus got jabbed and special punched 'till he had no
bench, win
record:4-1


Round Six: vs. same guy in round three ( small world )

game one: he has no help so he makes A LOT of bad moves, win
game two: his magmar dies and he has no bench, win
record: 5-1, second place

Feel free to copy my deck or get ideas for decks from it, that's why it's
posted. You should know what your opponent is playing before you draw your
cards though. Knowing types is why I won. Fighting: Farfetch'd, Electric:
Hitmochan, Energy removal deck: Stall with chansey. Knowing this is why I won
so use your head.
