Tourney Report:

I played at Top Deck Games card and hobby shop, on August 20, 1999.  Here's
my report:

Game 1

I played against a guy using a Psychic/Water Deck.  My Blastoise was out and
kicking butt on the second turn, with a Breeder.  I drew my last prize when
he was trying to draw his first. Simple.

Game 2

I was up against a guy who knew almost nothing about Pokemon.  He had a
Fighting/Colorless deck.  I used my benched Blastoise's Pokemon Power to get
all the energy on Poliwrath and started taking away energy.  Easy, once again.

Game 3

I played against a guy who was playing Fighting/Fire.  I had my no energy
Squirtle against his Diglett.  He almost beat me with a Diglett, but my
Blastoise came in and won.

Final eight, Round one of two:

I played against a Grass/Electric deck.  Luckily I was able to get my Pokemon
not faced up to their weaknesses.  I won.

Final eight, playing for First:

I played against this guy who kept attaching energy to Exeggutor.  His
brother kept telling him what to do, which was against store rules. I was so
mad, accidently decked myself.

I ended up coming in second place.  Not bad, considering I played a cheater.
