3-2 Gyarados Line (Look Above)

Energy: 26
24 Water Energy

3 Prof. Oak
3 Gust of wind
3 Comp. Search
2 Pokemon Trader
2 Switch

The concept of this deck is simple. If you get a trader or a computer
search, look for Blastoise. Evolve all you starting pokemon, and then start
trying to get out more. The strength in this deck lies in Dewgong and
Gyarados. Blastoise could be an attacker but it should just stay on the
bench as back-up. I’ve been working on this deck ever since I got a
Blastoise. Now its the best it can get. It is really fast and since I think
that Poliwrath is alot weaker then Dewgong or Gyarados I found no reason to
keep him.

This was another tourney at Lehigh Valley Mall. It was on Wednesday,
August 26th and there about 18 people in it. I played 4 people and won all
of them. It was actually easy because the kids in it were less experienced
then they usually are.

Round 1-
V.S Fire Grass Deck

I did a really bad job of keeping tracks of names, sorry. He started with a
weedle and a growlithe. I had a seel out and a squirtle and another seel on
the bench. Next turn I drew a computer search. I remember when I got the
Blastoise out my seel died so I sent the other one out which I evolved. The
match went quickly until he got a Ninetales out. Ninetales killed 2 pokemon
in a row until I sent Blastoise out. 1 win

Round 2-
v.s Raindance

This went quickly. He put 5 energyies on a poliwhirl while waiting for a
poliwrath. I killed the poliwhirl with all five energies and then I killed
his Blastoise with my own. He had a dewgong out but it had no energy.

Round 3
v.s Zap Deck

This kid was from the last tourney I went to. He was playing the same deck
except I was forced to just use gyarados because of weakness. I killed 3
pokemon and I had another gyaraods on the bench. Match over. He was sort of
angry that he oonly got the psychic portion of his deck out.

Round 4-
v.s Venusaur Center Deck

I had the worst hand and he had the best. By the next turn he had a
venusaur out but by that time I had a dewgong. Dewgong died quickly and I
sent another one out. It would have killed venusur but he used a pokemon
center. I nearly won next turn but he used a defender. AAARRRGGGHHHH!
Finally I overpower him when I get another Dewgong, both Blastoises and a
gyarados on my bench.

I won 3 oringinal booster packs and 4 jungle ones. I got an
electabuzz (that makes 5), a Zapdos, and a Beedrill in the originals, and a
Kengaskhan Holo, Vaporeon non-holo, a holo-wigglytuff, and a holo-Electrode.
