I made this deck for a tourney in San
Diego CA which was held at a
local comic store. 6 rounds best out of 3. Out of 20 people I placed
third. Heres my deck.

4 Hitmonchan- what can I say?
4 Electabuzz- 70 Hp. 1 energy for 10 damage and chance of
paralysis!
4 Lickitung- 90 hp and tongue wrap. pretty good basic.
3 Farfetch'd- gotta love them
2 Dratini- sucks but evolved version kicks a$$
1 Dragonair- living energy removal. only drawback is the cost.

heres how the tournament went:
1st round
1st match: vs. a kid with and electric and fire deck
easy match. gust of wind for hi ponytas and special punch would kill
them instantly. It was already over
2nd match:he put down a magnemite and I had a hitmonchan got an
energy down and jabbed. then he put out growlithe with one energy
and evolved in some last ditch effort or somethingit took me a few
turns but I killed it poor kid didn't have any other pokemon on his
bench or in his hand.

2nd round- vs. a plant deck
this guy was good. he had 4 scythers out in two turns but he couldn't
find the energy. every time he did I energy removed himhe kept
sending out scythers while he built up two venosaurs on the bench.I
finished off the scythers and one venosaur with a few electabuzz.
but then he sent out the other with five energy and full health he
pulverized each and every one of my injured pokemon.
2nd match:
He got a bad hand with only a scyther in it which I killed no prob.
3d match:
pretty much the same except he killed a dratini.
2-0
3d round : vs. psi and elec deck those were my weaknesses! I wonder
who won that one?
2-1 the last three were cut out due to lack of interesting
information. anyway I won 2 more and lost one because I decked
myself. I got 2 jungle boosters and 5 dollars.
