It is also much like a haymaker. It is designed to do quick damage. Every Pokemon in this deck is an ideal starting pokemon (hold Tangela and Nidoran M) that can do quick damage. Scythers are there to get an edge over fighting decks, same with the Farfetch’d. Nidorino’s Horn Drill is the same as Nidoqueens megapunch. Nidoqueen isn’t that good a pokemon, it can be beaten by most decks. Psychic is its main weakness but I’ve only fought against a psychic deck once. I faced many decks that require evolving quickly but those decks were defeated. I’ve lost against almost all the fire decks I played against but it does well against almost anything else. I replaced the fire pokemon which was in the original brushfire with fighting pokemon. Quickness is not a word I would use to describe fire. The only reason Machoke is in there is to give a deck a couple of reasons, but it only came to use 1 time. The tourney was at Westgate mall, near Climers July 10th. I did pretty good but I lost against more experienced players. It was double elimination. There were alot of people but i couldn’t be sure who was playing and who was watching. I played 7 Games. (4 rounds) I should have played 8 but there was a forfeit. Round 1- Me V.S Jason (Game 1) I think this kid lived in my neighborhood. I had seen his cards before, but I can’t remember were. His best card was probably Jynx. He was playin mono water, which surprised me. He had used a poke trader to get rid of a staryu and get a gyarados (He must have gotten it in an overgrowth or something) . To bad he had waited to draw. Next turn I got a bill, used it, and got gust of wind. Switched his active staryu with magikarp, killed magikarp with a potsmash from farfetch’d, rest of game went same way. Game 2 Got a squirtle, squirtle got killed by scyther who had used slash twice, he had no other basic left. I win! Round 2 Me v.s My Brothers Friend He was a 4th grader going to 5th. It was to easy. He was using 3 colors, and he had no idea that you had to draw energy to use it. The judge dude saw him looking at his prizes, he had to forfiet because playing the real game was to difficult for him. Round 3 Me V.s Bobby Bobby was my friends big brother, and he went to my school last year.He was playing a fire psychic deck It was tough because I tried my best to match up my pokemon with his but i still lost. Game 2 Gets a Jynx and an abra. I waist no time in evolving a benched nidoran into nidorino, while my Chansey was out. What a great first hand for me. I double edged Jynx and then a Kadabra (formerly abra) and I got a hitmonchan on the bench. Now i sent my hitmonchan out against his growlithe and with a jab and a special punch killed it. Game 3 Darn it! He had a charizard out pretty quick but my tangela was out poisoning and paralyzing it while it charged up, he had made a big mistake in not energizing it before he evolved. It was down to 50 HP and was poisoned until it fire spinned. It was his only pokemon so he could not switch it. He then got lucky and drew a prof. Oak. Darn it, that totally screwed things up. He got abra and jynx, soon evolved into kadabra. He also got magmar. My chansey double edged and killed charizard and but had a failed scrunch, got killed by magmar. He eventually killed the rest of my pokemon. LOSS! Round 4 Me V.S mono psychic I’m forgot to ask his name. He told me but i forgot. He had an abra out. HA. I had nidoran M. Little abra killed my nidoran when i got bad coin flips and i had a weakness to psy, game over. Game 2 I got tangela against his farfetch’d. Farfetch’d got tales on leek slap and i killed it. He had a kadabra, which went in and did 50 damage with super psy and killed my poor little tangela. I had a hitmonchan and a machop. I super ER’ed kadabra and brought in machop, brought kadabra down to 10 hp before he ko’d me. Same to hitmonchan. I think this deck did pretty well, and i did change it a little after the tournament. Now theres anothe pro. Oak and one less nidoran m (I had 3). I got tied in 8th and i got a free booster and got a holo-kengaskhan!!!
