Tournament was held in a store called The Gamekeeper in Schamburg, IL. About 12 people participated, but my deck seemed to kick some serious but, even since most my pokemon are weak against fighting pokemon (which most people used). It was really effective because i would put in scyther first to swords dance them and then if they put energy removals on him, i would just add one more grass until they stop (in the mean time, i put in clefairy and jigglypuff and upgrade them so i have them ready). When they stop, i lay down a double colorless energy and slash them to pieces. As soon as scyther gets weak, i send him out using the free retreat cost and put in either clefable or wigglytuff. They keep doing metronome and do the wave until they get weak, and i either retreat them or use scoop up and put them back in my hand. This REALLY makes them mad since metronome only needs one colorless, and energy removals won't be very effective since all i need is one energy to retreat them. Any really strong pokemon that can kill clefable in one hit, i use a gust of wind and put them in to use their moves on them. If they put in a fighting pokemon, i put in scyther, who is resistant to fighting pokemon. I love putting chansey in, because it gives me time to build up pokemon when chansey keeps doing scrunch, and then find the energy i need to pull of some other attacks If i run low on cards, i use bill or professor oak to get the cards i need. Most of the time, they get mad and cant do anything to kill me, and they end up decking themselves. Wondering where i got the name "white trash" for my deck? Well, I made a good grass deck and then kept putting more colorless in, until it was almost perfect for play. Theres even a picture of bill clinton on the front with the lable of my deck. What white trash deck would be complete without a little grass.
