Stuner Pokemon: 20 2x Kangaskhan 2x Chansey 3x Dratini 2x Dragonair 3x Dodou 2x Dodrio 4x Farfetch’d 2x Scyther Energy: 22 18x Grass Energy 4x Double Colorless Trainers: 18 2x S.E.R 2x Energy Removal 2x S. Potion 2x Potion 4x Gust of Wind 4x Bill 2x Pokemon Trader This deck is all colorless as you can see, and it is very effective against decks that rely on evolution. The four gusts of winds did wonders for me when those weak pokemon like magikarp were on the bench to evolve. The energy removal were standard for stalling, same with the potions. The ‘mandatory’ four bill were could for drawing cards. Jungle has had a great effect on my deck, with kengaskhan, scyther, and the ultimate bench warmer dodrio. The dragonair was for early game energy removal but it never came in handy (i never even got it out) The tourney was at Lehigh mall a week after the 4th of July. I came in at a tied 4th and there were 16 people playing. Game 1- Me v.s Andrew First, I would like to note that I have no idea if this tournament was D.C sanctioned or whatever. I would also like to note that there was a person who recorded everthing that happened on paper (he had asked me earlier if it was alright if he folowed me around and i said alright cuz i needed a tourney report). Some guy who wanted to learn what playing pokemon was like. Anyway, this kid was playing a 3-color deck with Charizard, Alakazam, and Venusaur. He told me later that those were his only three holos. My only basic in the beginning was a farfetch’d, and he had to Mulligan. He got out a bulbasaur next turn. I got a tails on leek slap but no prob, cause i just had to potsmash twice for an easy kill. He has no one on the bench so i WON. Game 2- He draws and Abra and i get a scyther. He kept psyshocking me but when I was down to 50 HP i slashed him and gameover cuz he had no benched. Round 2 Game 1- Me v.s John He was playing a mono fighting deck which was a stroke of luck for me. First turn I got a kengashan and a dodou and he got out a mankey and cubone. I put in dodou against his mankey. He could not do any damage so first turn I did 20 damage with that double peck. He kept peeking with mankey so he found a dodrio in my hand (which i got using a bill). I evolved dodrio and used rage. His mankey was toast so he put in marowak (his cubone evolved) and use bonemarang, which did not damage. I used a poketrader to get one of my dratini out of the way and got out scyther. YESSS!!! I retreated dodrio next turn after he used ‘call for friend’ and put in scyther. Three turns and game over, i won. Game 2 Easy, got out a chansey and scrunched for a while while he had a hitmonchan. Then i retreated Chansey, and put in a farfetch’d. Leek slap worked, took out his hitmonchan by using pot smash and next i took out a primeape he was building up on the bench. He used tantrum and confused himself. I win again cuz no one was benched. Round 3 Game 1- Me v.s Expert I am pretty sure his name was ryan myorani. He was playing a psychic-lightning deck. He got out a kadara 2nd turn on his bench while he had an electabuzz getting killed by my kengashan as active. I recall that i had a comet punch which got all heads. His kadabra was’nt much for the time being but what really hurt was that he evoloved a electrodew. I used a bill to get gust of wind and a double colorless. I gusted the voltorb out and comep punched him. ONLY 20 damage. He evoloved to an electrode and killed my Kangashan. I was forced to take my lone Farfetch’d out and leekslapped. Farfetch’d died next turn, so he won. I lost the tournament cause in the final four it was only one game per round. I got two jungle boosters in which I got a pinsir, jolteon, and a original booster in which i got an electrode.
