To the pojo: My deck, Foliage Fire, is more of an offense deck than any other kind of deck available. If you're going to make a deck like mine, don't even think of trying to defend yourself. The only two pokemon with a defense attack are Eevee and Kakuna. Now I will tell you what cards are in my deck and why I used those cards: Fire Energy x14 Grass Energy x12 total 26 energy Charmander x3 for its evolved forms Charmeleon x2 great attacks and high HP Charizard x1 same as above, but better Eevee x2 good for stalling (tail wag) and not bad attack Flareon x1 great attacks Clefairy x1 metronome is a great attack Vulpix x3 confusion and evolves into Ninetales Ninetales x1 lure + great attack Nidoran (male) x2 quick damage Nidorino x1 good attacks Bellsprout x3 call for family makes sure you don't run out of pokemon in play Victreebel x1 good HP and great for keeping dumb pokemon active and then finish it of Weedle x2 poison Kakuna x1 same as above and good HP Tangela x1 paralyze/poison Magmar x1 great basic 26 pokemon poke ball x2 find pokemon switch x1 to switch pokemon when needed gust of wind x1 bring out low HP pokemon energy removal x1 waste opponents energy super energy removal x 1 same as above but better super potion x1 very much needed traded all my Weepinbells, so I had to put in Pokemon Breeder x1 I used this deck in the Pokemon Trainer Showdown Battle in San Francisco at the Concourse Exibition Center on June 29. It did well. We played six matches, 20 min. each. Game 1: I didn't use my deck for this one. I used a nameless deck my friend help me construct. It had too much evolution cards and I lost. Game 2: This time I was playing against a girl with a SIX COLOR DECK! I easily won with only a Vulpix. Game 3: I used my friend's deck again and ran out of basics. Game 4: Guy with fire/grass deck, like me. I was lucky and this guy mostly got grass pokemon, the only fire he had was a magmar. He killed my 2 Eevees and 2 Nidorans, but I creamed him with my VULPIX! After killing 4 pokemon with my Vulpix, I evolved it and knocked out another pokemon. He knocked out my Ninetales right away. I just brought out my Charmeleon and beat his last pokemon in play (a pinsir) Game 5: I ran out of basics really fast somehow and lost. Game 6: Another colorless deck. I quickly got out my Charizard and killed about 3 pokemon with it, then a Kangaskhan killed it. I brought out my Clefairy and used comet punch. I got heads 3 times. The Kangaskhan hit me once. I used comet punch again and killed it. then my opponent seny out a chansey with 20 HP. (Charizard's work) Chansy didn't have enough energy, so didn't attack. I double-edged it with clefairy and knocked both pokemon out. Then my opponent brought out a Tauros, confused itself and knocked itself out. My record was a lousy 3-3 thanks to my friend's deck. I wanted to add a Nidoking and another Charizard, but no room. Plus, they would of hogged all the energy.
