The tournament was held in Arlington Heights, Illinois
(a suburb of Chicago) at a Hilton Hotel.  It was the
WOTC tournament when it came around.  I didn't do very
good.  I drew bad hands on all the games I lost.  My
record was 2 wins and 4 losses.  Game 1: I faced a kid
named William.  He was a beginner and he only knew the
basics of how to play.  I had to show him what to do. 
He'd only played one game before against his friend. 
I beat him EASILY.  Game 2: I was against Jennifer.  I
kept drawing fire energy for my Jynx, and she kept
using Kangaskhan's Comet Punch.  I lost.  Game 3:
Chris.  My good cards were all in my prizes or at the
bottom of my deck.  I might have won but he was an
EXPERT.  Game 4: Jackie.  Okay.  But I won with her
having five prizes left.  Game 5: Bren.  An expert,
combined with a bad hand for me let him win.  Game 6:
Steven.  Good.  But one trainer card in deck?  Weird! 
And it is . . . Pokemon Center?!?  But he still beat
me.  He must be an EXPERT to win without the help of
trainer cards.
