This deck did wonders for me
at the mega pokemon battle in San Francisco Ca. If you haven't guessed
already, It is a grass fire combo That works a little like the brush
fire
theme deck. Here it is.


15x Fire Energy
10x Grass Energy
25x total

2x nidoran male
2x nidoran female
2x weedle
1x scyther - The king of grass basics

2x magmars- Good basic for killing those big stage 1 and 2 pokemon
4x charmanders- Don't forget this little guy
2x charmeleon- I know 2 is skimping it
1x charizard- Good guy in the end of the game

2x jigglypuff- Great staller and starting pokemon


2x gust of wind
1x item finder
2x energy retrievals
1x lass- Don't worry I'll explain
2x bill- Good ol' mister Bill
1x pokemon trader
2x potions
2x computer search- A must have
2x plus power- Good with sycther


This deck did pretty good for a first time being used. This is how it
went.

    Round 1 Win

                This guy used a electric Psychic deck. All he got was a
abra which I killed the second turn with my magmar. An easy win

    Round 2 Win

                This wasn't quite as easy to win with. He used a fire
electric deck that really couldn't do that much. When ever he had a
pokemon that was able to do damage. I would kill it right away with my
Magmar or Scyther. Scyther especially made quick work of those pikachu's
and even his electabuzz ( with a little help from plus power). He had an
energy crisis and lost to moves like flame thrower.

    Round 3. Loss

            This game was very close. My opponent used a psychic grass
combo that emphasized entirly on the use of his eggexcutor. He stared
off with a lickitung whil my charmander could barely dent him. He also
kept on paralyizing little charmander which really pissed me off. That's
when I got the magmar. I started pumping him up while my charmander was
scratching his Likctung. charmander eventually died leaving only 30
damage on Likitung. My Magmar now had 2 fire energy and he had a
eggexcutor on his bech that had a lot of energy on it. Since I needed
one more turn to put the energy down and not be blown up by the
eggexcutor. I then put out my nidoran male to take the hits. Of course
he died. I then came out with that magmar and blew that eggexcutor off
the table. Since the eggexcutor had 13 energy on him he was pretty mad.I
was then building up a charmeleon on my bench that I was about to evolve
into a Charizard. He noticed that and just happened to have energy
removals up the wazoo that basically destroyed the charizard idea. He
then went on to killing the magmar with his likitung. I went in to an
energy crisis after that and I lossed my first round.

    Round 4 loss

        This guy used a rain maker deck that had Kangaskhan in it. I
only had a Scyther and no energy. guess who won.

    Round 5 win

        This was a one on one match with weedle and mankey. I beat her
so fast that we had a very good disscussion afterward about the jungle
and the very talented venomoth

    Round 6 loss

    This guy used a chansy alakazam combo. I let him kill three of my
pokemon with his kadabra that only had 2 energy on it. He said it was an
accident. I did beleive him but I should have stopped the game any way.
We tried to back track as best as we could but still wasn't good enough
to stop the on oming on slaught. of kadabra.

                        I put the computer searches in after the
tournament and after that. The deck remains a winner.
