This is a deck I used in a local king of the hil tournament, I dont know if they have them everywhere but the only rule difference is that you play with 3 prizes instead of 6. the tournament was Held in a Wizards of The Coast store. I ended up playing almost everyone there and did not loose a game to anyone except the guy who took first and a person with a Nidoking/Venasaur deck.(Nidoking is the only pokemon that can kill Mr. Mimi in one hit, and bulbasaur also does very well against him.) I took second place and got a really ghetto Card playing mat, but it was lots of fun and I played for about 5 hours. I came up with this deck designs trying to anticipate what all the excited little kids would be putting into there new Jungle decks. I created this deck and a pure fire deck, but as rain dance decks are still very popular around here I opted for my Mr. Mime deck. This deck might seem a little expensive or hard to come by, but apart from the Mr. Mimes (which I got 3 in 18 packs) they shouldn,t be hard to come by, expecially if you opt for non-hologram Mr. Mimes. Here's the design: Pokemon: 4x Mr. Mime 4x Abra 2x Kadabra 2x Alakazam 4x Hitmonchan 3x Lickitung Trainers: 4x Pokemon Center 3x Potion 1x Super Potion 3x Gust of Wind 2x Energy Retrival 1x Pokemon Breeder 1x Pokemon Trader 2x Full Heal 2x Switch 2x Energy Removal Energy: 13x Psycic 8x Fighting The way I play this deck is try and get a lickitung out first as a barier, he takes a long time for a paralized basic pokemon to kill. I will usually also get a Mr. Mime and a Hitmonchan after my first few draws. I try and get it so that i have an alakazam or 2 if my opponent can kill him if he has gust of wind (I usually dont energize my alakazams, mainly because lots of people around here have 4 regular and 4 super energy removals in their deck.) I also try to have a hitmoncan 2 lickitoungs and mabey another Mr. mime on my bench. then I have a Mr. Mime up fighting while my opponents precios scythers can't do jack about it then hi retreats ang i gust of wind and kill it. in the odd occasion that he does dammage Mr. Mime then dammage swap onto lickitong and wait for the counters to build up and then pokemon center that and the fact that they cant use their best pokemon against Mr. Mime will drive your opponents mad.
