I had just gotton my Jungle cards because I had reserved them at Babbages. Well, here's my report. The first match was against a kid named Brian Grahm. He had no jungle cards with him, just the base set. I got 2 machops in my starting hand and he probably predicted that I had a haymaker. He was astonished when I drew an eevee. Then my dewgong kicked in and slaughtered his Clefairy. I attached energies to my eevee like crazy. I bet Brian was wondering why I had execceded 2 energies on my eevee (Eevee only needs 2 to use quick attack) I drawed a Vaporeon and killed his Charmeleon with one hit. Then, he draws Charizard! I evolve my Poliwhirl and get ready. This is where all hell breaks loose. I put a water energy on Poliwrath. I expect him to bring out Charizard. Then he draws a Venasaur. His active pokemon, a Ivysaur, gets evolved. I am astonished by his remarkable luck. My poliwrath has only 1 energy but so does Venasaur. Then I blasted him with water gun. Brian used a potion and then a gust of wind. He chooses my helpless Rhyhorn and kills it with a Solar Beam. I decide to Bombard Brian. I choose my Vaporeon and blast him with Water gun. A quick 50 damage. He quickly uses a super potion. He hits me with solar beam. Vaporeon has 6 energies so I use a Super potion and a potion. Then I use Dodtrio's retreat Aid and bring Vaporeon back. I send out Poliwrath and attach his fourth energy. I use Whirl Pool attack. Brian attaches another energy and hits Poliwrath with Solar Beam. I bring out Vaporeon. I lay the finishing touch with water gun. That was pretty frustrating. The second match was with my friend, who had a modified Power Reserve deck. This battle was a failure. He just slaughtered my pokemon one after another. That went fast. The third match was pretty easy. I was going against some girl named Kelly. She was playing a modified ZAP deck. I kept using leer with Rhyhorn and then Horn Attack. The Electric pokemon didnt stand a chance. Her pikachu's couldnt lay a finger on me and I killed Raichu with 2 horn attacks. That was easy. The fourth match was the overall hardest. It was my friend with his non-modified Power reserve deck. He got his bench full in 1 turn and then evolved bellsprout. I killed Weepinbell with Vaporeon. Rhydon made quick work out of Kangaskan. He had one prize left but I used Rage and evened the score. Well, that was my report. The only adjustment I would make would be adding defenders so my Poliwrath could have lived. I won 10 jungle packs and 1 power reserve deck. From, Sheik156 Sheik156@aol.com
