<!--StartFragment-->Round 1- this round was against a
kid with a pure water deck, and it
was a little too easy.He didn't even
have a blastoise or poliwath. I won it.
Game 1-his first pokemon was a staryu and mine was a
kakuna. I killed his
staryu with my kakuna while evolving my
other kakuna and putting energy on it. My kakuna
eventually
fell due to being paralyzed bya squirtle, but I then
came out and killed all his other pokemon with my
beerill and won the game, because he drew only 2 energy
for the next 5 rounds and was getting bad
coin flips for his squirtle.
Game 2-He draws only 1 basic, a poliwag, and i drew
a Arcanine and a Dragonair. I killed
his poliwag
and then a porygon he drew at the last second to win the
game.
<!--StartFragment-->Round 2-this round was against a kid
who had 5 colors in his deck and no
trainers but was crammed with energy. it
was very very easy.
Game 1-the only basics he draws are a jynx and a squirtle, and
he gets 1
psychic energy out of all the energy in his hand. i had a few
charmanders
and a growlithe in my hand, along with a pokemon trader. He hits
twice for 10
and once for 0 with doubleslap against my charmanders, so i just
traded my
charmander for a Charizard and killed Jynx. He had no
water energy so i killed his
squirtle easily. end of game 1
Game 2-He has
a bulbasaur and a doduo, and he only draws 2 plant energy,
both of which he
puts on bulbasaur. This time i have a ivysaur and a
vulpix, and a super
energy removal. After he places both energies on bulbasaur, i
use super
energy removal on him and killed that with my vulpix. His doduo gets
confused
from my vulpix and winds up killing itself for me. He tried to put
a
squirtle in his active slot from his hand but couldn't so i won
the
game.
<!--StartFragment-->Round 3-This guys deck was pure
colorless, and was crammed with chansies
and clefairies. This was actually a
pretty hard match.
Game 1-This was actually pretty funny as we both put chansey's
in the
active slot, and kept scrunching for 9 turns, fearing that the other
guy
would retreat. In this time i managed to get an Arcanine with 5
energies
on it with a vulpix and a farfetch'd for support, and he gets 2
fully
powered clefairies. the rest of the game was basically my arcanine
vs.
his clefairies and dragonairs, and i finally won my last prize with
a
vulpix and confusion.
Game 2- All he draws is a dratini and i get a
Charizard. It was a
shame, because i was looking forward to playing with
him.
<!--StartFragment-->Round 4-The only round i lost. This
guy was playing a pure water deck
(ouch) with a lot of gyarados's (ouch!) I
still won 1 game by luck
Game 1- His only basic is a magikarp vs. my ivysaur. Thank
god, thats 1
win
Game 2- He gets out a squirtle which kills my growlithe,
and mages to
evolve a gyarados on his bench and power it up before the
squirtle and a
poliwag he sent out die to my fighting half. That gyarados
dominated the
rest of the game, and killed my arcanine in 1 shot! 1
loss
Game 3- This was the only game where i got a crappy hand. i get out
only
1 vulpix and i only have 1 fire energy, not enough to power it up.
It
dies and i lose.
<!--StartFragment-->So, my deck did fairly well, and i
only lost because of weaknesses. I'm
looking forward to any suggestions you
have to make for my deck.
