The name of the deck is Smokin the Grass (cause psychic expands the mind :) This deck is pretty good, my tournament record so far is 18-1, the game i lost was to monofire when i couldnt draw energy for the life of me. I've played in three tourneys, and placed first at all of them, winning about 50 bucks worth of prizes. Heres the deck: >>Trainers: (13) >>4 Bill (cause he's broken) >>3 Energy Retrieval >>3 Professor Oak (and he is too) >>2 Gust of Wind >>1 Pokemon Trader >> >>Pokemon: (24) >>4 Bulbasaur >>3 Ivysaur >>2 Venusaur >>4 Abra >>3 Kadabra >>4 Tangela >>2 Jynx >>1 Mewtwo >>1 Clefairy >>Energy: (23) >>13 Grass Energy >>10 Psychic Energy This deck is all about card advantage. Magic players should know what I'm talking about. If you draw more cards than your opponent, or neutralize lots of their cards for few of yours, then you should win the game. The real secret to this deck is the Tangelas. They can singlehandedly take down a Charizard, and have. It beats Rain Dance a lot of the time, but is still pretty much untested against haymaker. Energy Retrieval, Bill, Professor Oak, and Gust of Wind all accomplish the card advantage purpose, and I consider those the four best trainers in the game. Gust of Wind is pretty much a kill card. It can also screw the opponent. Gust out their Gyarados with no energy on it and watch it die. A lot of the time, you will start with one or two basics, then Oak and Bill into tons more. There is a lot of fire decks in my area, but the paralyzation and the psychic pokemon are more than enough for them. The deck only uses four foils, so it shouldn't be hard to put together. Clefairy is the secret weapon. Clefairy easily takes down any highly evolved pokemon, especially Kadabra and Alakazam. Anyways, give the deck a try, and let me know what you think. Oh yeah sidenote: Our team has gotten at least two people in the top three in every tournament we've been to. >>Props to all my teammates, >>Jon >>Tony >>Jeremy >>Chase >>Tommy >>and ME! >>Email me at Kenny Crawford unistaff@msn.com
