Here's for the beginners out there. If you and your friend are beginners,
you'll do great against him. Heres what to do; put in a straight set
of
cards in your deck, lets say you have just gotten Overgrowth and Brushfire
which
both have grass pokemon. Get as many stage one and basic pokemon cards,
no
stage two, but you won't have a complete 60 card deck. Heres what you
should have:
4 weedle
2 kakuna
4 bulbasaur
2 ivysaur
4 nidoran
2 tangela
2 bill
26 grass energy
14 other trainer cards
The way I'd really want a deck is to have 30 energy of one type, 20
pokemon and 10 trainers.
The main idea of this deck is to get out a pokemon that has energy
while the other guy is
drawing the wrong energy and wasting his cards to search his deck so
he can evolve
Charmeleon or someone and you've already killed him.
It's good to have Bills so you can draw all the energy you need.
