I have been in 3 tournaments with this deck and came in 3rd twice and 2nd once. This deck is great for people who just started playing and it is good for people who know hoe to play. It will let you get pokemon out that can do damage but still thake damage at the same time. When you look at the cards you might think what in the world this deck will never work, but trust me it will. One quick tip before I i show you my deck, read a card before saying if it sucks or not just because a pokemon does not do alot of damage doesn't mean it sucks Forest Fire By M. Struhar The name of my deck is "Forest Fire" because it uses fire & grass type pokemon. The main point of this deck is to get pokemon out that can do damege and still take some at the same time. The only card that you might question is Porygon, but the reason that he is in the deck is to use his Conversion1 move and change the weakness of your opponent then you can use the switch to get him out of there before he is killed. Tangela is also a great pokemon to put in this deck because you can use his bind and do 40 damage before your opponent can do any. The card that i think is the most helpfull though is Nidoran. His horn hzard can do 30 damage but you have to flip but once you get Nidorino down his horn drill can do 50 damage. If you have Nidoking in your hand DON'T use him Nidorino's attackes are better, Nidoking is in there so that you can evolve Nidorino just before he is killed.
